I would love to see the PC features on the Series Consoles - even the 4K and nicer shadows and clarity would be lovely to have. I don't NEED a full remaster - but having the same as the PC on the new consoles would be really super nice - even if it would be a modest amount of effort - not much more than Far Cry 3 had (perhaps a lot less as that had new textures in places and some minor changes)
The early multiplat games often were less good on PS3 but from about 2010 onwards most games were near enough the same on both consoles and sometimes the PS3 had the best version
Well, it did get butchered on PC! It's an awful console port that doesn't like to run above 30FPS. Plus, there's severe mouse acceleration and the FOV is just too tight for my taste.

Este juego te metía dentro de el...como se escuchaba ese mundo por dentro que tenía la Ishimura...esos ruidos ambientales (voces, ruidos como de raíles) esos gritos de Isaac cuando era atacado...la zona de la gravedad cero, que sólo se escuchaba la respiración...aún me sigue sorprendiendo este juego a dia de hoy.

I study law in europe, but i don't really get how intellectual property like the dead space universe can be kept under such circumstances. I understand that they probably still make money trough some steam sales, but its 2021, the game is more then 10 years old. I've heard about calisto project, Glen Schofield seems to be involved. But it's not like Glen Schofield is everything Visceral was, he was part of a team. So i expect something different, using the new advantages of next gen consoles and graphic cards. Negative atmosphere also seems to be really disturbing. And yeah, EA is just the two capital letters of my credentials:)

Igual yo, incluso hasta me hacia ilusion ver directamente un REMAKE del primer Dead Space pero nunca llego a Xbox One y PS4, espero que por lo menos saquen la trilogia remasterizada esta nueva generacion.
Estamos hablando de un juego que mató EA, mejor que no hagan ningún remaster, se llenarían los bolsillos fácilmente esas ratas. Solo juegalo en PC y listo, no hace falta.

Do a The Saboteur Comparison. I'm playing through it right it now. On PS3 it was the first game to use MLAA while 360 was using 4xMSAA. It has more tearing on PS3 and more fps drops. But image quality wise it has a better colour tone and lighting. 360 looks off. It's more stable on 360 though and tears less. Yeah have a look at it if your up for it. You can get it for PC from GOG also if you want to compare it for PC also.
Yeah I have both version and I am quite sure PS3 has better color depth but indeed the framerate is not very stable, however that's still alright for me to play it. Audio is amazing on PS3 though, even set to loudest it's still great (and horrifying).
I know it is probably too much to ask but EA, if you are reading this, I'd kill for a remake of this trilogy with modern graphics and AI. Imagine the game with ML powered AI enemies, raytraced GI/Reflections/Shadows, and raytraced audio with proper environmental vectoring and attenuation as well as high poly models with pbr materials and optimized for fast SSDs. What a spectacle that'd be.
Y aqui señores una de las razones del porque la retrocompatibilidad de Series X es tan maravillosa, jugar esta clase de juegazos con HDR automatico y demas mejoras es increible.
Nisiquiera mencione o tuve que ver a PC en algo. Consolas y PC son dos mundos completamente diferentes y en el mundo de las consolas es Xbox la que sobresale en muchisimas cosas.

@@TheChosenOneESP uy si, mejor retrocompatibilidad en PC, con juegos que necesitan parchearse por fallas de compatibilidad, más que nada juegos anteriores al 2010, o bugs gráficos o del juego inexistentes en consolas. Creo que el único juego que en consola tiene un bug es GTA IV en la Series X/S y es debido a que llega a los 60 FPS estables en la última misión y en esa misma misión a 60 FPS o más da bugs, debido a que en la PS3/360 el juego hasta le costaba llegar a 30 FPS, por lo que en esas consolas no hay problemas

I am fine with the remake but in the mean time it would have been nice to have the back compat games 4K enhanced for the X1X and Series consoles to continue with my current game saves. I would pay for that.
Lo único me parece que habría que comparar la version de PC a 1920x1080 o 1920x1200 que eran resoluciones altas más comunes en PC en la época, y era la resolución a la que las consolas aspiraban (y de hecho escalaban a esa resolución muy seguido, dado que la mayoría de TVs de esa época ya eran 1080p).
Yep this is a good example of what a 16X AF filter better shadows and 1080p and above can do to a Xbox 360/ PS3 era game the textures are the same on PC but look how cleaner it looks shame there's games like Infamous 1 and 2 the Motorstorm trilogy left at grease screen 720P.
This game still got it and it's a 13 year old game. It's sad how this game and the franchise never gotten a current gen/next gen sequel or a remaster/remake . It just stayed and died as an old gen franchise :( Fuck EA for killing Visceral games.
I remember back in the day Visceral saying Dead Space on PS3 had better lighting and audio. Mark Cerny even used it as an Example of what they were going for with PS5's audio capabilities.

It runs at 60fps but at 720p. Not great. I have a series X and PS5. Love both but for this PC wins for now at 4k 60fps. Hopefully series X gets the frame rate unlocked in a patch bit likely not.

aunque la PC pueda hacer que todo se vea superior (por obvias razones en cierta forma), parece que la idea de "mas fps mejor" no va con este juego ya que he visto muchas veces sobre partidas en las que algunos scripts dan error como son el poder pasar por una puerta abierta la mas importante :T no deberia haber problema limitarlos a 30 como es originalmente debido y no dejarse llevar por un capricho personal

Fuck EA for killing Visceral games.
I remember back in the day Visceral saying Dead Space on PS3 had better lighting and audio. Mark Cerny even used it as an Example of what they were going for with PS5's audio capabilities.
It did and PS3 was more powerful. It wasn't as easy to port games to though generally.

playing these games on Xbox Series X is great.
It runs at 60fps but at 720p. Not great. I have a series X and PS5. Love both but for this PC wins for now at 4k 60fps. Hopefully series X gets the frame rate unlocked in a patch bit likely not.

i played this one the xbox 360 and there was zero anti-aliasing and was quite ugly. In your video there seen to be aliasing applied to the 360
It was a good series of games, it's a pity that due to the greed of EA it ceased to exist

Mejora los fps, la resolución y en algunos juegos se mejora las texturas (ve el caso de sonic unleashed que se ve como si lo remasterizaron)

nos vemos en 10 años en el futuro con la comparacion grafica de bayonetta para ps3 y xbox 360, sera una batalla epica
aunque la PC pueda hacer que todo se vea superior (por obvias razones en cierta forma), parece que la idea de "mas fps mejor" no va con este juego ya que he visto muchas veces sobre partidas en las que algunos scripts dan error como son el poder pasar por una puerta abierta la mas importante :T no deberia haber problema limitarlos a 30 como es originalmente debido y no dejarse llevar por un capricho personal
La próxima tiene que ser de Call Of Duty 2 en consolas y PC. Saludos!
PD: Esta saga merece un remaster con lo último en tecnologías de sonido e iluminación basados en RT. Con un upgrade en texturas, con hairworks y fisicas actualizadas de ropa y objetos.

hola tenes que probar el sombras de mordor de ps3 y 360 cyber punk es el rey de reyes en optimizacion al lado de ese juego de warner curiosamente nadie salio a criticarlo fue una verguenza y estafa para los compradores de old gen en ese momento hasta para poner pausa habia tiempo de cargas 10 fps y se iba el sonido ese jeugo me hizo comprar la ps4 donde lo jugue en condiciones.salu2
