I have watched soooooo many videos on beach tumblers. And I swear, I keep coming back to yours. Your waves look the best out of every single video I have watched.
Love this cup!! And absolutely LOVE the wave idea with UV resin!!! 😳🤯🤩 I have to also tell You, after just completely over 20 pencil tumblers for teachers gift orders-I am SO Grateful for You telling your subscribers about Artistry’s Glitter Glue!! I Hands down will never use mod podge, or any other glitter glue for detailed designs like the pencils!! I prefer the epoxy method for glitter application for ombre’s ir any other designs, but Artistry’s Glitter glue is Phenomenal and I Love how it self levels and doesn’t cause streaks in fine glitter applications!! Thank You!!
I love this! Wish there was one in your store:) Can’t find one on Etsy with the vertical beach. I may just have to venture out in crafting and try to tackle tumblers
I love your tumbler and I watched your tutorial several times. I finally braved it today and I don’t like how the waves turned out. I did not get any cells. Have you ever tried sanding off the waves and redoing them?
I'm in love with your beach tumbler - I'll definitely have to try this one! Is the Artistry epoxy one that requires the "Darth Vader" mask in order to use it? My craft space is inside my home, so concerned with my dogs and husband breathing in fumes. Thanks for your tumbler tutorials!
Thanks so much! With regards to working with epoxy is it ALWAYS recommended to wear a full face respirator with organic vapor filters. If you are specifically asking about the odor- I do not notice an odor during application nor have I had any odor lingering on my clothes after 🩷
Your Amazon store list is missing the s at the end. I just tried your link but wouldn't work so I added the s and it worked. Just for your information. You are awesome. Thanks for all the tutorials and explanations on how to do certain techniques.
hey there...in your comment, you mentioned using hair oil for the cells, just curious, have you tried baby oil? if so, did it work? PS, love how detailed you are in your videos I am going to try the aileens snow for the first time, but I have always wanted the cells and just not sure what exactly to get. thanks lady!
Hey! I have not tried baby oil. The hair oil is thicker but baby oil might work as well- something that is a different consistency than the resin mixture and will help form those cells. Go for it! Trying new materials is part of the fun!
I know it's been a while since you've posted this video, but can I ask what's the difference between white wave and white alcohol ink or white acrylic paint?
Of course! So, I don’t recommend mixing acrylic paint with epoxy bc it can get gummy pretty quick and the color won’t be as opaque. I like to use things that were specifically designed to be mixed with epoxies/ resins so white wave, inks (but some can be translucent) mica, pastes etc. some can create different outcomes and some are more opaque than others. If I am working with a new product I will typically test it with whatever I want to use it on to see how it mixes and reacts!

Beautiful!
Thanks!!
I just ordered resin from your suggested store.
Thank you so much for sharing how you did your waves. I ordered glitter glue and white wave too 😁
Yay! If they sold glitter glue by the gallon I would buy it haha 😂
Absolutely beautiful!!!
Thank you!!
Great job! I haven’t tried the waves with uv but I may give it a try after this.
I wanted to try to get some good lacing and depth. A lot of that is lost with regular epoxy as it spins and cures so I was pretty happy with this!

Aw thank you. I don’t make too many tumblers besides what I teach! I have drop periodically that I will post in my FB group!
Love this !!! I’m wanting to order the glitter but didn’t know if the navy blue one was on the website yet .
This is GORGEOUS honey! Thank you for the time you put into this tutorial!

You can definitely sand them off- I would use a hand sander!

Uh oh! Thanks! And thank you so much!
Is the epoxy food safe? I love the design.
The epoxy I use for tumbler is FDC compliant and approved for light food contact 🥰
I’ve never heard of hair oil in epoxy to create more cells? Is it just regular hair oil? Thank you!!
Yep, I use the OGX coconut milk oil. Literally 1-2 drops

thank you! I will let you know how it works :)
I use a cake turner for painting.. i can turn the tumbler all the way around and never touch it
Smart!

Just made one for myself and how do you keep the epoxy from dimpling? What am I doing wrong 😕
For the layer over the waves? If you added any type of oil you will need to wash REALLY good with dawn to remove and oil that could be on top!
Do you have to be precise on formula
Hi Rhonda, for which formula?
Beautiful!!
