I really don't know how many actually remember this film, but it's one of the most underrated rock movies in history. There are very few things I would salvage from the 80's but this one be one of them.
this one and also Eddie and the Cruisers. John Cafferty and the beaver brown band were sooo under rated. i guess a lot because they sounded like Bruce and the E street band.

I was born in 1977 and I grew up with the 80s and I was a teenager in the 90s when I turned 18 years old my Italian friend she introduced me to this movie and I absolutely fell in love with the movie and the soundtrack this soundtrack is so underrated This soundtrack is so beautiful. I absolutely love it.

Was an extra in this film...crowd scenes at the “ Ellen Aim” concert and I tell you, the filming was just as incredible as the finished product...even with all the stops n goes, resetting camera angles, costume changes, etc. It was magical!!!

I met Laurie Sargeant once and was able to talk about this soundtrack with her directly and it was a standout moment for me. Steinman's music is flawless. Always knew there was room for the piano in rock music. The greatest rock and roll fable ever told.

I saw this scene on STARZ about a year ago and heard this song on a tribute to Bill Paxton. I didn’t know the name of the movie until yesterday and I bought the movie and entire soundtrack because it gave me goosebumps like no other rock and roll movie song has before. Fuck, I wish movies were as awesome and original as they were in the 80’s.

I saw this scene on STARZ about a year ago and heard this song on a tribute to Bill Paxton. I didn’t know the name of the movie until yesterday and I bought the movie and entire soundtrack because it gave me goosebumps like no other rock and roll movie song has before. Fuck, I wish movies were as awesome and original as they were in the 80’s.
