I use this device daily for streaming with my Samsung smartphone. I have a problem with fast-discharging AA batteries. Can I power this device with a 3.7V Lithium Ion battery instead of the original 3V battery?
One of the rare videos I have watched from start to end. Does it connect to a windows laptop. I have narrowed it down to irig pre 2 and zoom u22 and ability to connect to my laptop would be an important consideration.
The iRig can connect to any device that has a headphone/mic jack. If you are looking for a Audio interface that connects to a PC using USB this is not the right device for you.

Sir, I have a Yamaha mg10xu mixer, Road nt1a microphone and Beyerdynamics DT 770 Pro 80 ohm headphone. I want to use the Star Maker app, Smule with the help of all these. Please specify the setup so that real time voice monitoring can be done with zero latency. If I need to buy any other equipment for this, please also mention it.
can a live reporter in the field (calling the radiostudio) use this with his Rode Reporter microphone? We do not want recording on the smartphone, we only want to use it for realtime reports and live broadcasting on the station.
Why does the XLR socket wiggle? Seems like there's too much movement in the female XLR socket when you connect mic 🎤 cable. Is there a reason for that? Or is it a defective structural issue? 5:40 into the review video below demonstrates unstable XLR socket t.co/FSZfGWIjGp
Hey there. I have not noticed that before so I went back to test it. You are right there is some wiggle to it, however its wiggle between the Housing and the Socket. The Socket itself fits perfectly with the cable.

Mg10xu has line output to a class compliant audio interface then you should be good to go. Audient evo4 is $100, SSL2 or id14 is $230
How does this compare to the iRig HD which cost twice as much as the iRig Pre 2?
I don't have an HD to do a 1:1 comparison, but the main difference is that the HD interfaces digitally while this one analog through a 3.5 mm jack.

I do not have a Rode Reporter Microphone to verify it, however based on what I can read online about the microphone yes that would work.

How do I do reverb whole live streaming
You need either a hardware reverb generator before the irig or some sort of app that allows for this.
@@GreenBoxMedia the IRIG has downloadable apps for reverb, but the effect turns off when I switch to live streaming app. Bigo
