Finally I've found someone who explained C2C where my poor little brain could grasp it! Thank you so much! I've been frustrated because I've watched other tutorials and although they basically showed how to C2C the same way that you did, it just didn't register! When I watched your tutorial yesterday, 💡💡💡🎶🎵, light bulbs went off, music began to play and, voila!!! It all made such sense. You didn't rush, you were clear, and you just explained it in a way that I could understand. When you mentioned how the position of the tail helped you initially, that registered with me!! I made my first C2C Small blanket about 4 years ago. My Cat loved it so it's one of her many Beds now on top of my Desk...lol. Its pretty easy once you get the hang of it. And then I was a beginner at crocheting. Still am actually. ☺️ These are cute. Never thought of making towels. 😊I want a Beach Towel. 😊

Thank you for a wonderful tutorial. I’ve found that when doing the chain 6 to start the row if you pinch the 3rd chain as you work it then you don’t need to count back to the 4th chain you just work into the chain between your fingers. 🧶🧶

I love this!! It's super cute and easy to make..what cotton yarn did you use it looks so bright and colorful..
Thinking maybe doing it a bit bigger to allow for shrinking. I know my dishcloths shrink. Sometimes I put my dishcloths and scrubbies in the dishwasher to clean works great, can also dry on low.
I loved your tutorial but I am struggling with the decrease row. I joined the last square before it, then slip stitched into the 3 dc in the next row and the chain space and continued on as normal. When I come back to do the next decrease though it seems I am a block short. What might I be doing wrong?
Me too!. Somewhere along the line I skipped something and I got a huge triangle! It looks more like a shawl than a dish towel. Lol!

If I continue with Row 3 and do not decrease i think I would have the most beautiful triangle shawl? Please let me know your thoughts. I am in love with this pattern. C2C means corner 2 corner. Basically you're crocheting from one corner and ending at the other corner when done. She has a video on here of her making a shawl with C2C and it just continues with row 3 until you get to the size you want. And yes, you could do this as a blanket as well. Follow this pattern just make adjustments for size. Increase until you get the width of the blanket you want then continue with increase on one side and decrease on the other until you get your height or length of blanket then decrease on both sides to finish it off. There's plenty of patterns on RUclips and the internet for C2C blankets and shawls. Hope that helped

I learned how to crochet by watching RUclips videos. Very helpful. And you can go at your own pace.

A set of Crochet hooks from Walmart, and some yarn. But for Towels you need Cotton Yarn. Crocheting isn't very expensive to do. :)
