- EXPLORING THE UNTAMED: Tough Hilux Off-Road Touring and Fishing in Cape York, Australia
We are excited to share with you all our adventure into Cape York. At the end of the dry season in 2023, we discover unexplored, untamed country in the remote stretches of the Cape York Peninsula for the first time.
We travelled at our leisure with a couple of months, exploring the wild land Cape York is known for. Along eroded tracks we followed, we found remote campsites, flicked lines and caught fish for dinner, found wild bush tuckers, and tackled challenging tracks.
Of course, we tackled the Old Telegraph Track, a rugged route that is explored by the adventurous and well-prepared. With our tough Toyota Hilux touring rig prepared for all challenges that lie ahead, we tackled this historic track solo, putting our 4WD techniques into action. Jeremy and Isabelle have been living on the open road exploring remote Australia for over 3 years, experienced and prepared for solo and off-road remote travel.
🛻 This video is sponsored by the 4WD Experience, our business, and an extension to Laps of Maps. Expect to see content from The 4WD Experience featuring on our RUclips page, focusing on fun education surrounding 4WD techniques, remote travel, mechanical tips, and preparation for remote touring.

Hey, cool vids! Throffing the cars mixed with bush tucker vibes. Just wondering what that little swivel light is ? Looks like a good bit of kit.
Still catching up on your earlier videos. Thanks for letting me come explore with you.
Kinda like parts in south fla , had to watch the creeks and mud holes alligators in them , i lived way out in the woods just alligators and poisoness snakes , and wild hogs
Hey guys another ripper adventure, love the bush Tucker tips. Question, you guys passed a caravan right at the end, surely they can’t traverse those tracks you were on can they.

Is that damage caused by just 4X4's ?
No, the damage gets created by the tremendous wet season every year.
"promo sm" 😇
