It was a magnificent site when you stood on the bank next to it. It was huge. The noise of the bucket chain running was heard 25 miles away in the right conditions. The work siren is now the fire siren on the CFA shed in Eldorado.

My brother got a leech on his leg in Beechworth about 25 years ago when we were kids. This takes me back.

Definitely bakery, breakfast pies are great. Brewery as well- you can get a tasting rack of all the beers in 7 oz glasses.
