Hi, Jodi! Be careful you don’t shock yourself! I know that’s a hard space to clean. My fridge doesn’t have the cardboard, it’s a metal sheet. And I don’t have that front kick plate either. The newer fridges are made better for cleaning. Great job on your cleaning! We had rain for a few days but then flurries but no accumulation. Can’t wait for Spring! Hugs to all! Your neighbor from southern Michigan!🌷💐🌷💐💜🥰 P.S. I get an occasional mouse from a field near by so I have sticky mouse traps in different places. They also catch insects that crawl too. But be careful. I accidentally got my big toe on one of the traps and had to use olive oil to get the sticky residue off my skin.😂

There are mini vacuum tools for just this job... The space is tight. It takes effort. Yes.... Unplug the fridge. The fan needs to be cleaned too. The fridge will work tons and tons better. Even underneath gets all of the dust. There is no need to be super delicate when cleaning. Get after it 😊

For those wondering y the floor is unfinished under the oven, might be a building code requirement as floor wood varnish is highly flammable. You don’t really want highly flammable substances under your oven that may cause a 🔥.

Hi Jodi,👋 can of air is for cleaning keyboards and computer towers so lots of people keep them on hand now. Usually they're available anywhere they sell accessories for phones & computers.
So glad you finally got to the back of that fridge. Your light bill should like that cleaning. It's also good to do the same for stand alone freezers.
I've been doing some surgery prep for tomorrow again. That malfunctioning implant is being removed & NOT replaced.
Also been cleaning what I can. Decluttered half my 43"long (x2 sides of sink) counter in my kitchen. Cleaned and reorganized again. (Had planned to declutter after the last surgery but hadn't felt up to tackling that monster.
Found where the veneer had black mold growing under it into this old 1940s countertop. Ugh. Landlord will be replacing it soon.
Other than that it's cleaning all the bedding again that I JUST cleaned pre- surgery. Making sure ALL laundry is done, making ahead things I can eat with VERY LITTLE cooking.
Thankfully, taxes are done. Bills are paid. And some small areas have AGAIN been decluttered.
All of this while prepping for purim (24th March this year) celebration and planning ahead for start of pesach ( passover) on 22April this year. So it's been crazy stress time. Lol
Unless someone tells you & or teaches you, you don't just KNOW how/what/when you can /should clean...how would you know?
I think you're doing great at getting better at everything.
    Tulips. Yes!!! Enjoy them.
    Edit... Yes. Enjoy the blooms!!!
And hopefully those pothos bits will catch hold & do well.
Moss lives damp & inhales moisture like a kid with spaghettis followed by cookies.. you know...SLUUUURP!!!!

So glad to see another video. You have me curious about the back of my own fridge now. A good place to get a can of air is at your local office supply store. To get between the coils, a Swiffer duster could have fit in there. I love those things!
I just sent you an email about some things going on my way. I'm looking forward to seeing all those tulips pop up. The contrast between your yard before you started this journey and now is truly inspiring. 😊

I cannot wait to see your garden bulbs in bloom! You went crazy last fall planting! Another way of propagating pothos is to leave the length attached to the original plant. Lay the stem over the soil of the new pot next to the old. You can use a twist tie to make a little u shape to press into the soil over the stem in a few places. After it's rooted well then cut the stem from the original plant. Just another experiment for you to try. 🌻🍄

    Hi Jodi!
To clean fridge and freezer makes them more effective and saves electricity. They might be more quiet to, when cleaned. Another important thing is that all that dust can become a fire hazard. If you do it 1-2 times a year it will feel much easier since there will be less build up.
To clean under the fridge and freezer and under + behind the stove provides less chance for silverfish and other bugs to thrive. They eat those time pieces of food that can be dropped there.
I clean behind/under our stove about 3-4 times a year. Its easiely done at the same time as other kitchen scrubbing so if I have time it jist takes a few minutes. Under fridge and freezer perhaps 2 times/year and behind more seldom, perhaps every second year or so. I can´t pull them out by myself.
Another place I clean often instead of when it´s needed, perhaps more often than otherrs is our shower drain. I open up, take the loose parts out and clean all of it every second or third month. It´s never smelly or discusting thatway and I hate do to clean it when it´s bad. When I clean the shower drains I take the dish brush from the kitchen 😆and use that to clean both the shower and inside the drain, then I give myself a NEW dish brush for the kithen. The one I used in the drain I put in the plastic recyling.
About that no one will know that you cleaned under and behind... When it´s done the whole house smells fresher and You will know, and that is the most important.

Hi Jodi, never taken off the cardboard either, kinda stick the vacuum behind it, know I’m not getting the whole mess but the rest of the fridge is easy. Of course nothing is easy now that I am disabled. 6 months of pain 24/7, getting me down. Having knee replacement surgery in early June. I thought I could just strengthen the muscles around the knee but MRI showed avascular necrosis which is death of bone that has to be removed or it will spread. Going to be a hard summer but going to ask my son, daughter and her husband to clean up my back yard….put my Xmas crates away, clean up dog poo etc. My son will mow the lawn, don’t know if I can get hubs to water but whatever perennials come up they do and that is how it has to be.🥺🙂
The hardest thing for me to clean is the sides and hood of my gas stove. I won’t pull it out. I use super long brushes with soap and water for the sides. The hood! UGH!! One has to be a contortionist so it gets cleaned but never spotless underneath. I am also hosting Easter and my granddaughter’s birthday which falls on the same day.
I love your excitement over your plantings. My tulips are coming up well maybe 5 inches of green a week ago but we are having a major snowstorm on Thursday in Denver so who knows how they will end up.
Thank you for this video Jodi!😘

A baby bottle cleaning brush could work for the fridge. I have a long handle duster that I use for the thin spaces I can’t reach, like the space between our fridge and wall. Tbh, I also use it to do the skirting boards too.
Could you lay something under the stove to make cleaning under there easier?
I think the minority of the population cleans all the spaces in their home regularly….I’m definitely not one of them😂 In 2020, I clean for the first time SO MANY spaces I hadn’t cleaned since we built the house in 2007🤭 At least they are done now. Great job Jodi❤

Heads up! Goo Gone on your floor will create a very slick spot. I found this out the hard way and we had many falls from walking with socks on. It took forever to get the slick spot to disappear. Not a good idea! 😂

Amazon sells electric rechargeable mini blowers for dusting. As alternative to cans of air. They come in very handy if you invest in one with decent power. Lots of uses.

    How FUNNY is that 😂
I got my fridge in early 2014 and cleaned the insides in January for the first time, also then I discovered that I can take off the ovens knobs with a butter knife!
So high five in being lousy cleaners in the past Jodi 😃
For these hard to reach places, like the one under your oven, I fix a microfiber cloth with a rubber band on a wooden stick, works magic!
If some places in your flower beds stay sparse, just stick a bird feeder in that place (or some other decoration) and it looks intentional.

Hi Jodie, oh yea, my fridge looks like that every year when I clean it. Always unplug it first. That air is a good idea but sometimes that dust is a greasy dust where it won't blow off. Those brushes that they use to clean straws works pretty good too to get into those tight spots. Our old fridge is a RCA and its 25 years old. I make sure to clean it every year so I think that has helped keep it running more efficiently. Always enjoy your video's from the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. Gotta love this fabulous winter we've had this year. Happy cleaning.

Renee I think you are right! Some of the dust was too caked on. I’ll have to get a straw cleaner. U.P. In Michigan is so beautiful in the summer ❤️❤️

The one project I really want to tackle is taking apart the door to my oven and cleaning the inner glass. Something somehow leaked in between the two panes and it looks bad. I keep a hand towel over the handle to cover it. I have watched many RUclips videos and it seems easy enough to take apart but just really scared. Don't want to mess up and not be able to get it back together.

Hey Jodi! Good job on the fridge and stove cleaning! I bought this attachment for my vacuum cleaner that is sold as a computer cleaning attachment I think. It’s super small for those tiny crevases and has come in handy for stuff like these jobs. Also for under the dishwasher and the dryer vent where the lint screen goes and the tracks on the windows. Anyhow, pipe cleaners are so helpful too. I went to Harber freight and bought a set of these tips with long stacks on them and they are good as well as some dental picks and hemostats from there too! I’m sure you can look those items up on line and see what I’m talking about. I just like to get stuff that will make the jobs easier! No tulips for me here in Texas, too hot! Love your videos and motivation!
