Every time I see an interview with Blaze Bayley I come away impressed by his infectious nature and boundless enthusiasm. He seems like a genuinely nice guy; he always treated Hayley with courtesy and respect, as a gentleman should. He gets flak for his tenure in Iron Maiden from some of the fans, but yet he has nothing but great things to say about his former bandmates and about Bruce Dickinson. Also, punctuality and mutton chops. Too cool.
Blaze is living Heavy Metal to the bone! Great metaphoric background of his recent material. It is also interesting to get a better view on his relation with Iron Maiden. It seems to be not at all that negative. Our hightest respect! Would be cool if we would get an interview at this chanel, too. Cheerz from Germany
Blaze Bayley is the real legend of Heavy Métal, i see Blaze Bayley in "Chez Paulette", my dream is exhaused ;) The sing and the song are perfect !! Blaze you are THE KING OF THE METAL !!!!
It sounds like to me that Steve Harris was probably more impressed by his storytelling than his singing. Probably thinking it would be extremely useful for songwriting... Cause damn, can he talk stories. - Reminds me of... well, earlier on it reminded me of 'The Matrix' and 'SOMA', but then when he started talking about planets it reminded me of 'When Two Worlds Collide'. - This guy goes deep.
Although I prefer Bruce, I must say that Virtual11 and XFactor are amongst my favorite albums, and Blaze did such an awesome job there. Well done Blaze, thank you for a great performance.
I liked Blaze on the two Maiden albums he did, even though he was horrible up to OK live. - He seems a stand up guy, all about doing the right thing and so on. - But he also seems a sweet guy and I kinda feel bad for him in a way. - I think his passion for what he does it great and he fucking made it into one of the greatest bands in history. - But in a way he also seems to be more of an enthusiast. I think maybe he should be more like a producer or something, I think he's more valuable there, especially after all the experience he's gained in bands.
Something i learn with the times: "I love Iron Maiden, but i hate Iron Maiden Fans" and here is my reasons 1- You never Shut the fuck up about your moronic, endless, creepy and almost homoerotic love for the band or Bruce Dickinson in particular... the guy is super talented and the band is great, but jesus is realy necessary to bring him in every time i watching an interview of blaze? 2- I don't know if you dumbasses have been living under a rock since 1999 but blaze bayley is not in iron maiden anymore... Bruce is back!!! there is no reason to keep complaining anymore. 3- Some of you are "Iron Maiden fans" but not "heavy metal fans" and testimony of this is the incredibly uneducated opinions you people have. Blaze Bayley is a baritone, there isn't a lot of singers like him in Metal and he's one of the best, if not the best; Bruce dickinson is a "Tenor" for obvious reasons the transition between one to the other is complicated, but that doesn't meant one is best than the other. 4- With the sole exception of Brave New World (wich is amazing)... almost everything Iron Maiden release post 2000, has been super disappointing (But it doesn't matter, you people are worst than scientologist in this regard) on the other hand Blaze bayley has been producing super solid heavy metal albums, but you still giving him shit over something that ended 20 years ago. (see point 2) 5- If you prefer Bruce Dickinson or you are just a casual fan of Iron Maiden... God speed to you! go and watch some Maiden videos on youtube. You are not going to see Blaze bayley fans hating over there... Blaze fans are Iron Maiden Fans, but Blaze Haters are Iron Maiden Fans (ironic don't you think?). 6- Don't feel bad for Blaze he is an artist with more than 10 brilliant heavy metal records... you on the other hand are just a loser.
I think this guy doesn't get all the attention he deserves. He's an awesome songwriter and performer.
Blaze is a great guy!
I love virtual11!blaze is a great singer and person.
Blaze's solo albums are awwwwwsome. His vocals are amazing!

Neven I loved x factor it's a great album and helped keep maiden going to what we have today.
Yepp. X Factor for me is my favorite album for “non Bruce-era”
''Bring back Bruce'', and they did.
