You were SO fortunate to meet "Pappy" in person!!! At the time that you met him in 1984, I had to settle with being a mere pen pal. I began corresponding with him circa 1980. He lived in Fresno. I have a few signed photos that he gave me, including a large 8 x 10 that he signed in 1945. He had signed it for some guy that didn't include his return address. He'd tucked it away and had forgotten it until I mentioned original photos. I always wanted to meet him but Toronto, Ontario was too far away. I was in San Diego in 1985 but there was no time to work out a meeting. Great stuff Ken and aq great video as always! Thank you!!!
Very nice Artillerie visor Ken! I’ve been trying to find a decent one myself but every time one goes for sale in the duffel bag group, it’s usually gone within an hour. Iron crosses are very nice as well!
Kenneth, did you ever check on those two mother cross pins IMS website? Great video. Nice pick up. Are you going to need a bigger room 😂. Keep the videos coming, Kenneth. Thanks. And I still have that mint condition Luftwaffer driver bronze sleeve badge. If you want to buy it, just make me an offer thanks

That 1st Class Iron Cross, does it have a seam running around the edge of the frame? I couldn't really see one while watching on my phone.
