What an incredible story. The selfless gift she has given back to her country. The opportunity she has given to others through the world of music. Music has no borders or boundaries. It speaks all languages thru something universal... feeling.

I love that the school was built with Earthship technology! Super cool. It is underappreciated in the architecture community but there is much to learn & great form-making. The playfulness & values often remind me of Hundertwasser. Great story.

The sight of all that garbage 🗑 at the bottom of that pristine water 💦 was very disturbing.😞People throwing trash 🗑 in the street is a huge pet peeve of mine.🤬

It is truly stunning, but difficult to get to since it's so remote. If you go, make sure you stay for several days to be able to truly appreciate it.

Is Mahani related to the Keave family on O'ahu? She is an amazing artist and doing some very good work on Rapa Nui.

A wonderful story of finding creative solutions to problems - how ingenious using all the trash to create a space for the island’s kids to develop themselves! Both in music and their Rapa Nui heritage~~

Using garbage from the ocean that washes ashore to build a music school. Request for less garbage and more pianos. Rapa Nui (Easter Island) in need of a baby grand to hold a concert for locals and it's nearby governing neighbor Chile.
