Kev kev my dad bought a cx7 brand new for 43.000€ back then, and it’s a pile of junk. It burns fuel like crazy and it also burns oil. The CD player had a problem and at every single bump, the cd was unreadable for a couple of seconds. Also there are some fire reports during the last 5 years...... so yes.....
I know it's completely irrelevant but I want that jacket Tsuchiya's wearing & that belt the Pajero driver (I can't remember his name atm) is wearing @ 2:00 lol. Besides that what a great idea for a race! lol. I'm anxious to see who will win!
The CX-7 held its own pretty well. If it was tuned a 4 cyl Turbo would have smoked the V8 Twin Turbo. The CX-7 did very well in the corners. Funny vid to watch!
+Elijah Chu yes, Its turbocharged. I have one. Pretty snappy if you put your foot down. Handles great for being up higher than most cars. Haven't driven the Cayenne, but I'm sure it's a nice driving rig. Wouldn't want to pay the $$$$$ for one though!

+Elijah Chu check out the mazdadspeed forum if you want to do that. It's the same engine as the mazdadspeed 6 being the 2.3T, but the CX-7 has a smaller turbo inlet. You can tune it and out on a bigger turbo. I just don't think it's worth it for what it is.
Bala Sarawanan you mean 4 wheel drive. Open diff's on the front and rear make it 4 wheel drive. Their marketing BS isn't going to make the system any better.
guys seriously, the porsche is not only "overpowered", it has also a great handling, quite like a "normal car"! and don't forget the "M" version of the BMW's X5 and X6, the juke R is also a beast but, as i said, it's only a fu**ing prototype!!!
Thats why there is a big gap on starting grid. They do this whit all cars depending on their lap time, but they dont take in equation delay due to traffic. Get it?

I've had a JDM Toyota Wish imported directly from Japan and its totally different from the ones sold at my local dealership. Pajero is the only true mans workhorse ! All the rest is just what your mom drives. Cayenne is great in both worlds but people only buy it to compensate for small displacement in their pants. Pajero is a car for lumberjack ! All the rest for hair dressers, Cayenne for hair salon owner.

lathulerie207 I already have one, so now I always used my cx7 as my daily driver, and s320 for weekend...the cx7 is superb...it's fast, it's has good handling, it's has same fuel consumption although the machine bigger than crv...i love it

well.. for those of you that think that if the forester and land cruiser were there they would win.. You ARE completely wrong.. cx7 is 10 better than forester.. landcruiser is heavy and worse than cx7.. cx7 got the turbo and the sport engine.. far the 3rd best suv.. 1) the mega cayenne 2) might be the rangerovers 3) infinity suvs £ cx7 same place 4) follows the subaru probably or the big toyota.. i got the 2013 i think subaru forester and it is a terrible car compared to my best friends cx7... just saying
