It’s always a shallow grave because beyond a few cm in ground it becomes extremely difficult and tiring to dig. I recently buried my cat it took me 3 days to dig a hole 1m square 1m deep. Try digging a hole that deep 3 times larger it would take a week hence why it’s always a shallow grave - the killer doesn’t have the time or energy to do it properly
