I think passing to a spot instead of directly to the target for hitting to cutters, should be emphasized more

#1 should be knowing your teammates tendencies.. Running sets is always better than running plays. Forget what teammates are "good at" or where they "should" go. What do they LIKE to do? WHERE do they like to operate? Passing becomes so much easier when you know where their sweet spots are and can read each others minds. In competitive hoops, the window to score is so small. Feeding them where they are comfortable and in the FLOW eliminates any hesitating and then forced, challenged shots.
Great video. Loved the rest of these too. Especially #5, get downhill, slashing, aka "a probing PG" (Tony Parker). It's like running motion before a play in football. You don't have to score. Do it just because... see how the defense reacts. It WILL open something up. When it does, then see my #1 above.

Understanding teammates and what they like to do and where they expect the ball is huge. Along with communication on the court. And one pro tip to not get your passes intercepted is to throw in a fake before making the pass. It's simple, but not many people do these things.

Delivery and Mindset are so key in becoming a better passer and playmaker. Just like attacking the basket or creating your drive, dont be afraid of contact and pushing through a defender or a couple bodies to get into a pass.
Just like wide open shots or cuts to the basket a wide open pass is not routine and you're gonna be under some kind of pressure 90% of the time mobile or stationary. Great vid as always C

@ByAnyMeansBasketball Hey bro so let's say I am taking the ball up the court and I see a defender dropping leaving a teamate open for 3 in the corner how can I hit a teamate in the corner without looking directly at my teamate and making the pass? Are there any ways to hit others cross court with a pass that has good form?

    What’s always helped me is:
    1) always look downcourt after a rebound or outlet
    2) lead your teammates to open spots with passes
    3) know where your teammates like to catch the ball, not every assist has to be a dime, it can just be a good solid swing to a shooter, or a good feed to a big man
