i think the processors improve is like 10-15% more than a pentium p6200 and, by replacing the hdd with a SSD is like 200% faster loading programs and the OS, the ram improve is great too if you open 10 pages in google chrome with 4gb ram it start to stuck but with 8gb ram you can open 20-30 witouth problems(SSD help with this too).
hello , i have a question , i have an HP 630 that has I3-370M , and i just got off a I5-2520M , i heard that there are some modules that has 2nd gen Intel CPUS , so am i able to just simply remove and place the new CPU , it has same socket and TDP .
I m still using it just bought a new SSD I dont even know SSD is working after opening it not checked yet & BUT stuck during installation..now bios page is skipping not staying ..tomorrow I m going to a repair shop Plus my HD graphics gone I m just running it in VGA MODE
A small question. Does the HP630 (i3 2310M) have an m.2 nvme slot or will it at least have SATA 6GB/s (Sata3) port inside so i can fix a normal SSD at least ? The existing disk i want to replace so will the port be SATA3 or SATA2 inside this laptop ?

you can buy the i5-540m. The most important thing is to install an SSD and 6-8GB of RAM - this also speeds up the laptop.

Only a slot for a regular hard drive, you can also put a ssd instead of a DVD in an optibe.
