    Bought a set of these last month, in part thanks to your review (and in part because the Mirage was my first casino poker experience). Couldn't be happier. Friends love them, too.
    Out of an abundance of paranoia, I ran a lead test swab on them, came up negative, if anyone is curious.

      The inlays are absolutely beautiful. They did well to copy The Mirage.

    Just started watching your videos. Very informative and helpful. Been toying with getting a set of claysmith gold rush chips and this has convinced me.

    I just ordered my sample set... they forgot the 50c chip but im not too worried about that. I love how they feel...and they look even better in amazing than they do in video/picture. I think I will order 500 of these or more. I have 800 Monte Carlo Chips, I love them too but I will order more of these and play with them and see how it goes.

    Watching this 8yrs later...I have decided on these chips but chip cave is out of stock of some of the denominations. They said 4-6 weeks until back in stock. Is there any other website that has these?

    Claysmith sent me 2 sample chips. One was desert heat, the other was The Mint. The mint's label wasn't even cut right and is off by a lot. The desert heat one is a spinner on a flat surface, but at least the label is good. Idk if I should get a big set anymore.

    Hey Hobbyphilic thank you for your review on this product. I am from South Africa and looking for a really nice set of cash poker chips (1000 piece) - my budget is around $700-$1000 - hoping you can point me in the right direction. Looking for a good quality long lasting chip set. Hoping you can help.

    can you shuffle these chips easily?

    • @Hobbyphilic
      @Hobbyphilic  9 лет назад +1

      +pdxaac Yeah, but they are not as light as casino chips so they feel a little different. Thanks for watching.

    Will these chips scuff and wear down if I shuffle a lot?

      These chips are very durable, more so than Paulson Casino chips. Thanks for watching.

      I reckon the same goes for the mint ones right?

    • @SergeantExtreme
      @SergeantExtreme 3 года назад +1

      @@eduardofreitas8336 You'd reckon correctly. All of the Claysmith Gaming chips (with the exception of the Milanos) are made out of the same materials. In other words, same chip different design.
