Yeah i hopes that Heathcock achieves the Table of 4 and I was disappointed by Szilagyi because I didn’t expect that shouldn’t loses in the first Round or second
Coach Andrew, I was eagerly awaiting your mens saber teams prediction vid!!! If Korea wins, they'll be #1 for 8 straight years!!! A record that'll probably never be matched!
Colin taken out in L32 by Park Sangwon, 15-10. Quite unexpected. Fares Arfa of Canada takes out Szilagyi and Apithy by 15-8. Ferjani did really well to win silver. His parries and blade actions frustrated so many oppos, including Elsissy.
Common practice would be that Bauer doesn’t coach. I have seen club mates coach each other (eg: Bazadze coached Heathcock at one of the world cups after he got knocked out early), but I am not sure how that would be in the olympics Edit: had a similar conversation with a high level referee, as I previously thought that a coach is not allowed by the rules to coach if 2 of his fencers fence against each other, but I have been told that there is no rule prohibiting this, as much as it is a "precedent" and sort of common sense and decorum that the coach sits out for the coaching of those kind of matches
I desperately want a Heathcock vs Szilagyi final
we*
both out in the round of 32 💀
@@SlicerSabre thanks for jinxing it :(
@@thomasfoster1985 I still refuse to believe a Canadian beat Szilagyi 15:8

What happens if 2 Bauer students go up against each other? Does the higher seeded fencer get coached by Bauer? Or does he refrain from coaching?
