It's nice just to see the bikes. Yes, they're as inappropriate for drag racing as those big trucks are at track but it's fun to watch and as long as everyone is having a good time, who cares if they're not as fast as a sports bike. It's like comparing Nascar to Formula 1; they both have their audiences and as long as people show up to watch it will keep happening. Keep it up!

@@lifeon2wheels837 maybe it's your area? I've never had them not wave back where I'm at. Of course I'm in the PNW, we are just happy to be out riding with the sun out lol. I've ridden a few of the newer harleys, they are completely different than even 10 years ago. Very smooth and tons of power. As hideous as the vrod is it's a really fun bike and that Porsche designed engine revs for days. I'm not even a cruiser guy and never liked harleys but the new ones are nothing like they used to be.
It would have been nice to have seen E T's and top speeds. That's what really gives ya a clue about the power these 800 - 1000 lb baggers have.

Anybody else notice the lady complaining to the track official for shooing off the guys from the track saying be nice? He was being nice they're not supposed to be there. this is typical response from you know who of you know what race If you want to be treated differently this is how you get treated different by making a scene about nothing but gonna pull the race card you could tell.
I love it 900-pound motorcycles pushing a hundred 50 horse and you think you've got a fast motorcycle how you were Harley Owners here so much fun spend 60 70 80 90 $1,000 trying to make your bike fast and you get your ass kicked by a $6,000 10-year old 600cc sportbike
This is perfect example of grabbing too much front brake. Bike off balance on a non typical surface gets sucked to the ground. Back brake only below 10mph solves this problem.

Grudge racing at any track doesn’t show times. If you’re a drag racer this would be common knowledge. The riders receive a time slip after each run to help with tuning but grudge racers don’t want their times known. Lots of sandbagging and gamesmanship goes on trying to set up their next money race. Obviously there are some inexperienced newbies on the video too. But hey, you’ve got to start somewhere.

I own a street glide, all S&S gear driven engine, high performance clutch, and more. These bikes are cruisers, to race 1/4 mile is ok, but to race on a road course is just insane, too heavy, don't brake properly and don't handle well. I'll be watching, love racing, even if it's a bunch of pigs running around.
