Thank you for your humble non-judgmental attitude towards others and helping to keep the world just a little bit cleaner. We all have our good and bad times and this is a great friendly reminder.
Words cannot express my thankfulness for the great job you do to make us all feel we are out on the trail with you. We are privileged to ride along with you. You earn the trail my friend, God bless you and your family 🙏
We as fans need to get on the ball and share you guys. We should have over a million subs. That would be able to pave the way for some awesome adventures. As a grown man who just watched his baby of the family graduate and get ready for college, we love watching Caroline grow. The helicopter thingy was crazy. She has been conditioned for adventure, that’s for sure. Thank you for including us for family time.
One of my favorite videos back to back you guys have done. Mostly just the trail and overall experience. Your family and channel have been a big influence on myself and even my wife. Our RTT will be mounted this week and this will be our 2 year old daughters first summer of camping! Very excited. Thank you for all your content and the heart your family puts into this lifestyle.
AMIGOOOOO…!!! OMG we were there last week, the wind was super bad 70 mph +, a lot of dust everywhere hahahaha. But we had so much fun in our adventure. I wish we could meet you.
I couldn’t help but think of Michael Scott from the Office when you were trying to mount the tire back in the spare location and said “it’s to short I can’t see it”….That’s what she said! 😆
Delightful! I had put this one off as I thought it would be a dry equipment evaluation. Instead, it was one of the most delightful and interesting you've made. Interesting predicaments and earnest thoughfulness. Very Nice!
Thanks for the tire review. I was considering some cheaper tires, but after seeing them Hankook’s get shredded I think the Toyo’s are worth their weight in gold.
Some cool shots and beautiful scenery, thank you for taking us along. Gotta praise Silver, I know she has a lot of miles but still sounds smooth and quiet and still “Charlie Mike’ing”.
Another great episode!! Bummer about the tires, but if that isn't the best torque wrench I have EVER seen!! Interested to see how the tents holds up in wind/dust :)
I like most how down to earth, no complaining, just do it, kinda person you are. I am like that. At my age, I figured out (and about time, too) there just ain't no
Great Video ! I love the desert almost as much as the mountains . Those tires seem to be for looks not actual use around rocks , I like that torque wrench you got , reminds me of a breaker bar LOL click click . Last summer I got to spend some time in Utah with my son in my 4Runner , we found a place in southern Utah called the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park , pretty unique and bring a boogie board or something to sled down the big dune .
Noticed your difficulty with the Hi-Lift jack. The walking pins were dirty . Check your video when you were removing the jack from the rtt top. You need to clean them off and lube them. Then, it would've worked just fine. The jack is exposed to the elements. Of course it will need a little care before use. Love the videos.
Steak flavored bacon and eggs and mushrooms...that's a winner in my book. That cooking comment reminds me of one we used to say in my coaching days. "He's not very big or strong, but at least he's slow". It's hard to beat a good bottle jack. Don't leave home without it. Those tires look like very poor quality rubber. That is no good at all.
Wise choice to change the tire before heading on the trail. Much safer and easier to change the tire on nice level ground with space to work. Agree with your decision to go with a bottle jack. Mine has come in very handy assisting others and the bottle jack takes less space in the jeep.
Love the looks of the kings on Silver. Can't wait to see the review on them. I noticed the suspension noise it used to make while on bumpy trails is gone, was it the shocks that caused the noise? Great video as always!!!
Just subscribed. Enjoying your show. The variety, the clean content and the joyful attitudes with a since of humor. I do have a question. When you talk about a product do you ask first or just give you opinion. Wanting to start a channel.
I had a set of those tires on my avalanche 35x12.20r20 10 ply and the traction with them while let's say that the 275/65r20 Michelin at2s had better traction and the at2s held up better now I have Cooper stt pros liking them much better.
No cords showing should be no problem but at freeway speeds for awhile and that one gash smart move.... roll tire up ur leg on ur knee as you almost sit back way easier especially for your back.
I worked for a company that made us run Hankook tires on our work trucks and we were changing flats almost everyday out in the oilpatch on dirt lease roads. I don't recommend them.
I was considering the MT2 but bot after this. I used to run the RT03 and put them through hell. But someone told me they are not made anymore. Very disappointing.
Unfortunately, you are not the first that I have heard of having cutting issues with Hankook tires. I haven't considered them for some time. Curious as to your thoughts on the Falken MT's. I'm on my 2nd set of AT3W's and I love them.
Kevin, first time I saw you cooking. Always Sarah the master chef. 😀. What kind of milage you are getting on the truck with the new tent? Cheers mate. Great channel. Hope to see you in Flagstaff in a few weeks.
Great video. My Falcon Pro is on its way over and i have the same set up. How are you mounted to the cross bars on the Gobi rack? I see the factory RoofNest clips but i dont see your Gobi cross bars connecting to the upper rack frame bar.
Do you think you could mount a light bar onto the tent? Would you even consider that? I’m thinking GX 460, factory rack and awning. Cost, simplicity, and weight.
Any experience out there with Falken Wildpeak at3w? Recently installed a set on my truck for an upcoming trip. I also thought I would try something different , hope they work out
Incredible scenery. I don't understand how people can just leave their trash and even worse leaving graffiti on those ancient petroglyph, so sad. If it would have been me I just would have slept inside the Forerunner, another great video
Great episode. Thanks for the tire info. I just crossed those tires off my replacement list. Hope those are covered for replacement. Think I will stick with Nitto's
WHICH NITTO TIRES ARE YOU USING 🤔 I SEEN THEY CAME OUT WITH A NEW STYLE TIRE 🤔 RECON GRABBER / I'M STILL LOOKING AT THE TRAIL GRABBERS . HAVE BEEN USING TERRA GRABBERS TWO SETS WORK GREAT IN WHAT SNOW ❄ WE GET HERE , RAIN 🌧 , COUPLE TIMES AT ASSATEAGUE ISLAND , MARYLAND & OUTER BANKS , NORTH CAROLINA . HI ! BE SAFE !
I have a similar setup with an older Roofnest falcon, I was thinking about upgrading to the Falcon pro but the extra width was a little off putting because I also have a side awning. I see that you off set your tent to one side to balance out the extra width. How has that worked out?

Check out Safe Jack for bottle jack accessories. Had a tire changed in 10 min last week using it. Hi-Lift has its place. That place is bolted in my Jeep for 7 years, going unused.
hi, what a nice landscape... that is a dream for my as naturephotographer! i was 2019 and 2020 (January) in the Death Valley Nationalpark and Alabama Hills for Offroading and Photography. Germany is not good for Offroading... i have a nissan xtrail :)
I have a question that someone will know the answer to. could it be that the tires were to old when you bought them, I have heard that the compound in tires break down after 5 or 6 year and was wondering if that is true, if so and you got old tires would that lead to that type damage?

I can recommend the general x3 MT tire... have had good experiences on my taco with them.
I have no complaints as well.
@@rondre3 I agree - the X-3s have been great - 3 sets now, about 30-35K each and nor tears at all.
The cabin, "icebox" and arch look a bit different than when I was there in November. Still beautiful!
Awesome 👏🏼 Throw those tires in the trash. Or better yet ask for your money back.
That's the plan! We'll see how it goes.
Everyone has different luck with tire brands but I find Nitto has the strongest sidewalls. You pay a weight penalty for sure but I think it's worth it

by packing some heat.
THE BEST suv.

What's the date stamp on those tires? They failed like they've been sitting in a hot Arizona wearhouse for the last 10 years.

Missing the STT Pros yet? I’m running mine into season 3

2014 Trail Edition with factory rear Locker and crawl control. Haven't used CC since going with 4.88 gearing and added front air locker though.
