I think it is more funny for us norwegians because we know that if you are from Northern Norway, you swear a lot, and in oslo/the south side they have a very "pretty" language😅

hey, be carefull who you call the south. We on the west coast do not want to be confused with people from oslo

@@PCGameplayismOh please no one here likes you anyway and you want to be your own republic separated from Norway! And the majority of people living in Oslo aren’t even from Oslo originally, but all over Norway. And Bergen IS SOUTH WEST! Dutch German🤡🤡🤡

Pretty? We swear too, in fact we all swear. We invented the word “fuck” for gods sake which came from Old Norse. And it was Norwegian settlers and illegal immigrants who brought it with them to the Americas.

Fun fact - scheffe or however you spell it, is directly connected to the word chef - a boss of the kitchen - as well as chief. It all comes from the same root word and is similar across many many languages, for example "Szef" in Polish.

Being called a "pudding" means you are soft and weak and mushy like a pudding. Lofoten is a place in northern Norway. The people there are known to have a rough/foul language, strong temper and being roughians

I don't think the drunks voice has been distorted. You can hear the distortion on the doctors voice, but the drunk has a voice consistent with years of alcohol abuse and being from northern Norway. The general speaking voice in most northern dialects sits a bit lower than southeastern Norway (the cops).

I'm from a small Norwegian town, of course I'm drunk. very happy with most of the police here and this is a good service. but we also have exceptions where they are too violent(the voice has been changed to make him anonymous)

This is actually from a very popular reality show where one can follow the different police divisions/districts in various big cities in Norway and their day to day job. Nattpatruljen meaning the Night Patrol/Watch in English… and he is funny. And this is no big deal. Just a common drunkard. Nothing major.

And swearing isn’t seen as bad here unless a Christian Conservative as most of us are Atheists. We swear on national TV and even our kids swear. Perfectly normal. Fuck comes from Old Norse and it was Norwegian settlers who brought it with them to America… and it’s just his northern dialect that may make it sound like his voice has been distorted to foreign ears. And no he’s not possessed. Just drunk🤣🤣🤣 Sex, swearing and drunk, is our legacy from our Norse ancestors🤭
