► About the "Doctor Who Theme"
The iconic intro theme music is the defining element of the BBC show's opening titles. Originally composed by Ron Grainer in 1963, the song has been reimagined countless times. My version is mostly inspired by Murray Gold's 2005 version of the Doctor Who Theme. I sped it up, added drums and a ton of guitar tracks!

Despite his strangeness (and often because of it) the adventures he goes on often save the universe. He doesn't always go looking for trouble, but it always finds him.

I honestly hear a combination of all the themes(I'm sure that was the point). Mostly 9 and 11 and it's really nice. Grade A once again

One of the best version of the theme I've ever heard, btw. I listened to it some dozen times, and personally I think, this should become the next official theme of the show (if it survives the current events, that is).

I am partial to McCoy's synth'd up version.
The only thing missing is an extreme close up of a second guitar and pair of hands zooming out as an establishing shot showing Peter Capaldi walking out of the TARDIS then standing next to you as the song gets more intense.
That would be beyond epic! 😂

Haha thank you! It was an interesting challenge, the melody was definitely NOT made to be played on guitar. The way you see me do it in the video does work, but I only played it like that as a visualisation of what you‘re hearing. I performed the actual guitar audio recording with a whammy pedal, which enabled me to modify the guitar’s pitch with my foot while playing.
Great technology, but would look a bit lame in a video! 😉

Well done! The main inspiration was Series 1. Series 11 for the intro, yes! Another big one was series 9 that had that Rock guitar version for one episode!
Love the triumphant middle 8! It always reminds me of a space western. Any full length version of the theme needs it!

Who was the one person who disliked this? There is literally no reason to dislike it, you may not like it but I rarely ever press the dislike button when there is something genuinly wrong in the video but everything about this is great. Honestly I wish there was only a like button because there is no real point in it. The like button, sure, it's a nice thing to do but the other one really isn't necessary because if you don't like it then just don't press the like button, simples.
Indeed! I don‘t care about dislikes, but yes, it‘s amusing to think about what someone was thinking when choosing to downvote anything. In this case, I like to believe the dislike was unintentional. From my own experience, it‘s possible to accidentally hit the downvote button! I wonder how many times I did it without noticing my mistake. 😂
