Thanks man it really helped. I'd like to give more details that worked for me: - Speaker seems dead - Getting 24v at the transformer but only 3.3v when you measure 2 pins at the main switch (not in the video) then SMD capacitors for LEDs might be dead (3 tiny capacitors near each controllers, C200, C201, C202 they are parallel connected as shown in the video) - Check each capacitors each terminal for a short circuit: switch to buzzer in the multimeter and put one probe on the orange rings near the screws and the other on each side of the capacitors (not in the video). Only one side of the capacitors should buzz, if you are getting buzz at the both of the terminals of each capacitors then it is the dead one. You can search for "bad SMD capacitor test" for more detailed videos. - Remove it and it works again. You shouldn't remove all three.
This is a solution for when your marshall speaker is not turning on at all. It has nothing to do with the bleutooth sadly. In the video you see it's not turning on, but later he also does not find the bleutooth connection.
The problem was one of the filtering SMD capacitors next to the 3 small ICs which was shorted. I had the same problem with the exactly the same capacitor as shown on video. The guy just removed it, but it's good to be replaced with a new 100nF capacitor.
@@rvelectronicsworkshop5058 i just burned mine and need replacement. Can i have the correct smd cap number for this? And is it all 3 need to replace if my stanmore 2 not switching on?

@@rvelectronicsworkshop5058 is there any chance you could create a video showing the repair? No disrespect to this guy or his video but there’s a lot of pointing and talking but I haven’t a clue what’s goin on or which capacitor was the issue.....appreciate it’s a 100nf cap. Which one?
@@rvelectronicsworkshop5058 I'm curious if the speaker could be rewired to bypass the DSP. I'm trying to use it as a monitor but the DSP is causing latency issues.

Hi, thanks for the better explanation. Is there any chance to write to you regarding this same problem?
Hello, do you think your Marshall Stanmor 2 and Marshall Stanmor 3 videos still have original speakers or copies?

Tried factory reset ? Hold down "source" and "play" a few seconds until it starts. Solved my issue with bluetooth connection problems.
You should have some one help you with subtitles. I would love to now what you are talking about.
He is talking about a shorted capacitor which he just removed it.
@@rvelectronicsworkshop5058 maybe I missed it but at what point and from where does he remove the shorted capacitor? 🤔
@@paulomiguel23 Ask him😜. Measure them all with a meter, and the one which shows zero ohm is the shorted one
Realy helped me a lot, many thanks.
Do you know if the Woburn 2 has the same value capacitors of 100nF ?
cám ơn bác rất nhiều xem video phát lần ra bệnh luôn

Would this be the same fix for the first edition Stanmore with the same Bluetooth issue?
Stanmore & Stanmore 2 have different constructs, so the way to fix error is also different , thankyou
Can you please post how to repair version 1?
@@phillu8 same here, version 1 not turning on. I already changed the fuse but still not working would love to know what parts to replace....

My Stanmore II just light up the three “Source” LEDs. Could these same capacitors be causing the issue?
I measured 3.3v out of each of those capacitors on my board.
