Hello, I bought the Marshall Kilburn II last Thursday. I used it on Thursday and Friday. Today, Monday, just 4 days after buying it, I turned it on again, and it wouldn’t start. I started searching for videos on RUclips and found yours. I cleaned both ends of the flat connector with an eraser, and voilà! It started working. Thank you, you’re a genius. Thanks a million!
Just fixed my 3 years old Killburn II, had the same issue. Just unplugged, used eraser, plugged in, and everything ok. Thank you very much, you saved me 50 Euros, or dont know how much would they take in some repair shop for this.

Wow thank you so much. Got it for my birthday in another country and the store would no longer answer only had it about 3 weeks and boom no power. But for me it happened to be the conductor in the red black connection from power input to board. It corroded. So I cleaned it off best I could kind of a tight spot and boom power.
Hi there. I tried cleaning the contacts of the flexible wire. But the voltage reading I get at the power button points is about 6v when it’s OFF and strangely it goes down to .01-.04 when’s it ON. What could be happening?
@@VroomG Hi, try to reset. If nothing happens after resetting, please double check the alignment of the flex cable. If it's still the same, please check the line related to the supply and make sure no short on this line. A short line on the supply volts will shut down the supply.
Bought mine within the past year but wont turn on. Should i do the same thing you did in this video? Or should i go to the store and have my Kilburn 2 repaired by them?
The same problem was happened to me and I put it just in charge for half a hour and then I switched the Bluetooth button for 5/6 second and it turned on. There is any problems?! What do you think why happened something’s like this ?!
3 reasons it's either 1. Unit drops and the wire loose. 2. Oxidation due to humidity. 3. Bad contact of the connector and the flex wire. As you can see the flex wire lines are so small and no adhesive. Thank you for watching ☺️
I try tried to measure volt on the to pins with my CAT III measuring pens, and I think I might’ve burnt the blue thingy. The battery display lights flickered when I did it… What do you suggest?
Hey thanks for the Video. I only have 7.4 Volts on my Power Switch Pins. Any idea if thats the problem and how to fix that? Thanks in advance for any tips.
mine working when plugged in, but completely dead when plugged off, charging indicator kept showing charging but never ends. can mine be fixed with this method?
Hi, thank you for watching! I have no idea if it will work In your case. Seems that it's a battery issue. I would advise the qualified technician to check the speaker to avoid any additional damage.
Hi and thanks for the video, I have an issue on my killburn 2 and i can't find the reason why. When the sound and especially the bass are too loud the sound shut down for ~2/3 sec and the litle red light near the Bluetooth button shut down as well. The battery lights stays on tho and when the sound comes back the music is still going as it haven't been shut. Could you please help me if you have an idea of what may cause this issue ?🙏
Hi, thank you for watching ☺️ This model has a sensitivity in the auxiliary jack, once you touch this auxiliary or any little movement will cut the audio. My advice is please check this board where this jack is connected and make sure no loose screws or broken parts.
Hi, you can see it at the back side , it is the same as the 3.5mm headphone jack. Try to observe inserting in and out any 3.5 jack to this auxiliary jack.

Hi, if there is a loose connection maybe... but this amp has a sensitive auxiliary input detection, when the auxiliary jack is loose or the board is loose, the sound stops.
i checked the cable that you demonstrated, it was loose and has bent pins on the end points of it, tried to unbent them and plugged it in, one of the pins were still in contact with each other causing a short to the control knob circuit, the bluetooth light remains constantly on and some of the light diodes are burnt. oh well it doesnt work
Hi, sad to hear that. Possible the volume knob switch is still in the On position when you insert the cable or the cable alignment and lines are so bad.
