I have a question that my HVAC guy can't seem to figure out. I have a new Bosch heat pump(HEAT) and a new Boiler(AUX). My AUX heating seems to be on most of the time, what I wanted to avoid with oil prices and the HEAT never seems to get warm enough. I've talked to other people that have heat pump only and they have great heat from it. My guy says 40F is the lowest the pump ca make heat from. I think that's wrong. I switched off my boiler to see what the heat pump can really do. How do I set up the Ecobee Lite 3. On Device Settings it's setup for heat at 45F to 72F. 45 seems to be the lowest the Ecobee goes. The register is blowing cooler air and the thermostat is holding at 69F but set for 72F. Can you offer me any settings that can push heat from this new Bosch paperweight I have outside. Snow storm is on it's way this week. Thank you for any advice you can give me.
I don't like it so far, I didn't receive a Manuel and I can't seem to work mine. I just cut it off. I don't like that Auto runs constantly. It set itself to 49° when I like my temp at 69-70
Obviously they didn't design this thing for anyone over 40. The incredibly tiny font used everywhere along with the very artsy dim grey-on-black color scheme makes this unit an impossibility for me.
Hi when I turn on the cool and it's get to cold I want to turn it off I put it on off but it will stop and jump back on do I turn the fan off to 0
It sounds like it's reverting to your schedule, or preset temps.

I hate these smart thermostats. They are difficult to use
