Yes shooting a flamethrower made it explode, there’s some crazies interviews of marine M2 operators

Huh granted I can see how it would work but I think the reason i was unsure of it because shooting gas tanks doesn't usually cause them to explode but a flamethrower I guess because it has a flaming element that makes sense.

The tension between Pierson and turner is justifiable....its like saving 1 person over the sacrifice of 100 people

Exactly, I feel like turners motivation was so focused on saving everyone he couldn't see how it could result in more deaths. Alternatively, Pierson being a hard ass he could see reason.

man, this a real "WHAT IS YOUR MAJOR MALFUNCTION?!" moment. I have to ask, what do you rate the WWII campaign on a scale of 1 to 100? For me, its an obvious 100, my favorite call of duty EVER. the game makes me cry. in my eyes it is the best Call of Duty EVER.
EDIT: The lip synching is just a pc thing btw

Personally I'd say between 70 and 80 roughly. It's pretty, it runs well, story telling is good but it does have some quality of life issues. Not enough issues to dislike it but enough that it's at least noticeable.

m26 pershings didnt make their way to europe until 1945, and you have seen multiple variants of pershings, field mods like the rhino with the teeth on the front from earlier, and 2 different guns, the medium velocity 75mm and the high velocity 76mm, as far as sub variant im not knowledgeable enough to know offhand

Ok so the game goofed on that deploying a tank long before it was even suppose to show up.

@@NickMal Over 50K Shermans were made in WW2, compared to only 20 Pershings that saw service in WW2. And this mission is set in Nov 1944, and the first Pershing didn't see service until Feb 1945.
There are multiple variants of Shermans in game, the one used in the tank mission was a 75mm, and most of the tanks seen here are 76mm.
Granted a light tank like a stuart or a scout car like a M8 wouldn't be out of place, the Sherman was the main tank used by the Americans (and really the allies) so they are not out of place.

@CWHistory07 Tbh for ww2 games the Sherman is the easiest tank to stick in since like you said it was the main tank of the allies give or take for the different variations. Something i noticed in vanguard was they'd have variations of German tanks involved in battles when it wasn't historially built yet. So I do wonder exactly how far this game is accurate to history.
