    Good vids and quality i ve lived 15 mins from here my entire life and never knew it now I go here at least twice a month. These are the most stellar views and very simple ride and easy to get too. There are many walking trails too I find new things every time I go.

      Yeah the place is really great. I regret only shooting enough footage for a 12 minute video. I honestly feel like that I didn't do the place justice. Perhaps I'll return at some point and do a new video! Thanks for watching!

    Love the video. I subbed! Thinking about riding it this Saturday when I'm in Banner Elk for a gig. About how much time should I allow for Old 105 for traveling it & with stopping a time or two for drone footage?
    Also, what FPS did you film with your drone for those cinematic shots? awesome stuff boss man! keep at it!

    • @DefiantOffroad
      @DefiantOffroad  6 дней назад +1

      Thanks for the kind words! I would plan for maybe about 2 hours or so, if you're going to stop and film stuff. I shoot all of my drone stuff at 60fps, but my videos are done at 30. I shoot at 60 so it gives me the flexibility to slow shots down a little if I want to. This video was done a while ago. I think I've gotten a little better since then, but who knows? Check out some of my newer videos and tell me what you think!

    Great video! I really love that your videos are straight-forward and that you're not trying to convince viewers to buy a bunch of crap that they don't need. Too many "influencers" out there making videos that are little more than product marketing showcases. I'm glad to see that some people still make videos with substance.

    I have a 2013 jeep wrangler sport with the soft top and the V6 6speed trans . I'm doing some upgrades to my jeep as I can do. I'm going to get me a set of 285 70 16 AT tires and a winch for it . Would I be able to do this jeep trip with my jeep wrangler sport.

      Doing it in winter allows you to see farther but fall would be beautiful.
      I did live in NC for a year and didn't know about this 😞
      My Uncle Sam even provided camping gear but the Mustang I had then wouldn't have been ideal.
      I'll need to do this with the LR4 😀

    Great video, wife and I are going up there this weekend for her first light offroad trip. Did you air down and if so what pressures?

    • @DefiantOffroad
      @DefiantOffroad  Год назад

      I didn't air down, and it's totally not necessary there. However, it is a bumpy ride so airing down for comfort probably wouldn't be a bad idea. Generally if I air down for comfort, I only go down to about 25-27PSI ( I normally run 40 on the road)

      I run 35 on road for my tacoma on toyo open country MT 285/70/17. Think 20 is safe there or go 25? I am on a 3 inch lift on kings and old man emu
