John and Olivia were very very good freinds for a very long time. The chemistry is very real tho, because of their freindship...and Olivia was at that time, recovering from her first bout of breast cancer, and John was doing a great job supporting her at that time. . Both are/were very happily married to other people . John is a one woman man and has been with his wife Jilly for nearly 50 years. It's a beautiful and enduring love story. He has written songs about his love for her like Jillys Song and Burn For You. Both lovely songs and worth checking out.

John and Olivia were born in the UK in 1948. Started singing the same year at maybe 16yr of age on Bandstand in Sydney and have known each other since then. Olivia moved to America but John stayed home although Olivia used to visit home quite often.
John and his wife Jill will have their 50th Wedding Anniversary on 18th April. I remember the hysteria of the Australian "King of Pop" marrying in 1973 lol!
