I think the biggest fear of those animals is being held by people.

Anton Makov, no. I have been around all these animals a lot. I had rats, my sister has had iguanas and friends of mine have had snakes and birds. Lizards aren't big on being held but they like being stroked.
Btw, when he said the rat was biting, she was *grooming* him. They do that and it's painless.
Meh snakes just view humans as trees that feed them occasionally. So the generally enjoy being able to wrap around them. Rats are social and enjoy interacting with people. The bird probably was indifferent about the experience. And then the lizard probably wasn’t the most thrilled about it but it’s a lizard and their chill.
Plus they handled them all in a non constricting way so they were able to move around and explore

Stephan Dolz rats are so intelligent! They have the intelligence of a 5 yr old. They really are good pets, but unfortunately that doesn’t matter to you as well as other people who think rats are disgusting. People are raised to think that they are disgusting creatures, I WAS RAISED THAT WAY. I use to think they were so nasty and I needed to stay away from them but then I learned they are wonderful creatures who love to show affection. This comment probably won’t change your opinion on rats as you were raised to think they are nasty but just know they aren’t and they are truly amazing. Hopefully your opinion changes 😊

Boi that rat did not bite him. It nipped him which doesn't mean it was showing signs of aggression, it was getting a feel for him and learning about him. If the rat literally bit him there would be blood and the rat would have made sounds and shown different body language.

they would probably feel less scared if they learned about each of those animals behavior and body language...etc. so they would feel more in control. the fear s mainly because they're afraid the animal's going to do something when it's probably just chilling and maybe feeling a little scared because they're sending off excited/scared vibes (not judging , just saying that animals can feel that in general). but yeah, that would be helpful to actually talk to specialists and learn about their behavior.
