I know it’s only Tv show… but as 41 year old … neighbours back in the 90,s was the highlight of my Day .. bbc 1 5.35 ! So many memories… time goes so quick ! Neighbours to me was more important than Eastenders! Xx
My parents used to watch Neighbours back when I was a kid, lunch time on BBC 1 or the 5:35 pm one, I never watched the show religiously like they did but I caught the odd episodes here and there and Toadie was always my favourite when I did watch. Truely is the end of an era.

Totally agree. I don't think the writers did Toadie's character justice since they killed off Sonya (which should never have happened but they told her ending brilliantly). They were such a great unit I thought it would have been a lot more fitting if Toadie didn't move on, never mind marrying Therese...or Melanie for that matter
I have not watched neighbours in 25 years. Every time i get bad indigestion I remember when toadie thought he was having a heart attack from eating to quickly.
He used to call him that a lot during their first year 94-95 (when Karl was a lot more conservative and strict) and then started calling him it as a joke in the late 90's
He had a nervous breakdown never got over the death of Sonya and so he decided it would be better to have a fresh start and moved with his kids to Colac where his parents and Stonefish lives.

So many of the neighbours cast have either moved on to different things or moved behind the camera. Good luck Ryan .
