Thanks for this video. I have a 2004 LS430 and P0455 code keeps coming up, but it does not appear to be a loose gas cap. I tighten the gas cap but then the code comes back on a week later and I'm starting to smell raw fuel, but I do not have any issues with engine performance or fuel economy.
@@protipsplus I believe it is a hose crack. The valve cover gaskets were recently replaced and the frail hoses probably have a hairline crack from the process and checking everything over tomorrow. 15 minutes into driving the car I can smell a little bit of raw fuel coming in through the vents, but the smell does not accumulate in the garage overnight and only when the car is running, so I'm ninety-nine percent sure there's a small crack somewhere. Thanks for the great video 👍
That engine is so clean
Thanks
Thanks for this brother. Please keep up the vids.
Thanks. Very thorough demo. 😊
You saved me some money the hose coming from the gas tank was completely off .
I'm glad I could help
Great video my man!!

If you've ruled out hose cracks. I would replace the 19 year old gas cap before replacing the purge valve. I hope this helps.
