That dream was in the books. You remember when Percy were being snucked in Kronos' moments as if it was a dream but those were visions? Kronos said something along the lines of 'Percy brought himself there because he's like his father: unpredictable'. I think they decided to present it as if his former principal was Kronos because, of course, because they wouldn't reveal his actual character form yet, since that would be anticlimactic.
I know everyone was joking around about Lin Manuel being Hermes, but I actually really expected how he can switch from happy to mournful and how you see that inner turmoil in his eyes- I'm actually really excited to see how he portrays the rest of the Luke-Hermes-May Castellan story.
when they told Luke that they knew who stole the bolt and he was like "how do you know??🤨🤨" I LAUGHED!!! it was sooo funny for some reasons ! (btw that taxi scene was hilarious)
I really liked this episode! I do think it was too short and they would benefit from more 10 - 20 minutes to develop the casino situation, but I also think they did a good job with the time they had. Also, I think the actors are more comfortable with their characters and the pacing of the episode was good. This is the best Percy vibe so far by Walker and the writing.
I definitely would've liked if these episodes were a little bit longer as well, and yeah I agree the actors are definitely getting more acquainted with their characters and filling the roles well
ah ! and I don't know if it is true but I saw on Twitter people saying that in the casino during the scene where Grover was playing vr , we can hear in the background someone screaming "BIANCAAA" !!!!! (I hope it's true it would be a cool and subtle easter egg yk)
Yeah, I replayed it so many times and it does sound like someone screaming Bianca. But I don't know if it's just another case of imagining things because you expect it to be there. 😂

Aside from the one while he's playing VR, there is also someone screaming Bianca when Grover was talking to Augustus (this is the most clear sounding one). Someone also saw a black car with Nico's birthdate as plate number. Then, there's a girl who's playing the VR that's seems to be loading a bow and arrow so maybe it's a nod to Bianca. Enjoy easter egg hunting!
