With a full military draft in place we watched each others’ classmates, brothers uncles and neighbors dying in Vietnam when they weren’t “old enough” to vote yet. Thus the evil laugh at the outset and the final cry of “F you, I won’t do what you told me”. It wasn’t joyous but it sure as hell motivated young people to keep pushing for an end. For me it's the part during the guitar solo where first you see Gorran, then you see Romain, then Ren... big smiles all. They were having so much fun, they crowd was with them, it's infectious.
I love how Rens personality shines through here! Of course his music ability and voice are incredible! And Goran starts off the guitar solo with crazy train ! Randy Rhodes tribute! One of the all time greats died wayyyyy too young! They have such subtle ques to one another and they don’t miss a beat! Awesomeness. You gotta check out their Bongo Bong cover on the rooftop. They all take turns singing except the drummer. It’s really awesome
