To be fair, all the girls have severe character traits that make them problematic romantically and kinda high maintaince. Darkness is probably the most managable with having to be clubbed with a morningstar every so often. The other trio of women (Kris, Yunyun and Wiz) in this series are better choices across the board.

Because... well afaik Darkness is a virgin without any relationship experience. And i think the bath scene on the first season show she is all talk, but very insecure when things get intimate. Plus, she describes often her desire to be bullied/degraded specially by Kazuma. Though acording to the light novel, Megumin is fated to be Kazuma's love interest.

For Darkness Kazuma's empty promise to force her to work the debt out with her body is more exciting than anything a peeping noble could ever come up with~ We could also argue that, maybe, possibly, perhaps Darkness has some standards (maybe)
She eventually try to force herself on kazuma after her confession was rejected. Now megumin and aqua take shift to assure she doesn't assault kazuma in his sleep since she physically stronger. She wanted babies now and everynight kazuma has to fight to keep his innocence.
