Overall an impressive execution for a sub-$25k car. The exterior design is quite polarizing. I'm not sure if I like it. I need to see it in person. The minty green color is unique and attractive. All trims come with stylish, attractive wheels. Even the base trim has cool-looking wheel covers. A light-gray interior option would be nice to brighten up the depressing sea of dark materials inside. They really need to add a cool modern fabric pattern. A missed opportunity there. The seats look like they're upholstered with my luggage fabric. I'm excited for the upcoming K4 hatchback. We need more hatchbacks in the U.S. They offer the practicality of a CUV, but with better handling and better MPGs.
@@truckercowboyed2638 honestly the k5 gt line rides alot better as my sister has one ive driven it i love it drives like a cloud and super quiet inside. no doubt that longer wheelbase helps nothing is gonna be as small as the rio but the k5 is only 8 inches longer and same width as the 4
Good video. By the way this engine is MPI as opposed to GDI... perhaps implications for better reliability. Elantra continues to push GDI engines to unsuspecting shoppers. To compete with the Civic hybrid, Kia/Hyundai needs to increase hp/torque output.
The color is interesting but those wheels look so rental car cheap and the back end of this car doesn't mesh well with the rest of the car as if 2 different designers were clashing!
I have this car and you can feel EVERY bump you go over .. not kidding at all every bump even the small ones .. not a smooth ride whatsoever… ready to get rid of it already
@@kkworldwide799 I didn’t I got it financed through my bank ..but it’s not expensive so probably around 1500-2000 will do.. and they are having deals this month and next month at Kia!!!
I like the color. It makes it look modern.

You could get a K5 GT line for not much more than the K4 GT line.....it's crazy how similar the prices are......

I would take a k5 over the k4, but if we are talking about the hatchback version of the k4, then I would take the k4.

This K4 is based on the 2021+ Elantra. It uses the same 2.0L MPI engine and IVT transmission.

Better than the steel wheels, plus it’s something that can easily be swapped out.
the 2025 volkswagen jetta is a way better car for the same price
He didn't turn on LFA.
Those screens need a major anti-glare coating. Borderline unusable.
Plastic is still on it
