The #1 thing I hate about this car is why they placed the climate control on a touchscreen and the view of it being obstructed by the steering wheel. Quite poor design in my opinion.
It's for technology and innovative purposes. But it does have redundant screens. Or, you can buy a base model without it. Leave the cool technology stuff for the Gen Z crowd.
Here's the problem. The K4 is a great car. The Forte was quite dated and it desperately needed what the K4 gave it. Very good, Kia! BUT, the Fortr GT also needed a desperate refresh. And what we got was a power decrease and a less sporty feel. And I get it. The K4's target audience is not Elantra N buyers. But it could've been, VERY easily, because it has such sporty styling. For the regular Forte, it's incredible upgrade. Maybe a hybrid would've been cool but otherwise really good. For the Forte GT, I dont think it counts as a replacement. Which is a real shame, because the GT was an amazing car.
@TheUnreadableUser They never said that. They just been tight lip about it. Just like what Hyundai did when Elantra N came from nowhere. My prediction is that the GT model will be in hatchback form.
Hyundai and Kia are showing genuine efforts!
This is my dream affordable car.
Id get EX, morning haze, and green interior

I agree, but it's not actually that bad, because the primary controls are in the center. You only need to use that little screen occasionally

Charlie, Let's hope the upcoming hatch/wagon addresses the lack of headroom provided by the sedan.
I can't imagine it would fix the front seat headroom much, but I suppose it's possible. At least it looks even cooler and will be more practical
@@DailyMotor It was a faint hope.

But this is the K4 Gt-Line not the GT. Unless Kia said they aren’t making a full on GT version of the new K4, there’s still hope
@JohnDoe-fy7sr they said they weren't gonna make a K4 GT

The Hartman Kardon sound test video in the description says private video

Those cup holder things look like theyre gonna break eventually.

Thats greedy dealers. Not KIA. You are picking the wrong fight.
