    I personally don't like red bull, but some of the things they sponsor are some of the best things I can think to sponsor.

      Little do people know that Red Bull is about extreme sports and the drink is just extra cause you can’t be a brand of sponsoring things so they made an energy drink

    I've been telling my friends this for years, and to hear a top athlete say the same thing gives me lots of positive mojo! To compete against yourself and get better than yourself. Absolutely! And to respect the person who got second because they helped push him to improve? Sportsmanship in a nutshell, right there!

    what kind of martial arts do you need to learn these tricks? tae kwon do and what else?

    • @h311purg3
      @h311purg3 9 лет назад +3

      Tricking has martial arts inspired movements like for example the b-kick and b-twist are essentially wushu kung fu moves, or the raiz, touchdown raiz, gumbi, envergado, parafuso are all capoeira moves. Tricking is also comprised of a lot of taekwondo kicks like the tornado kick, 540 crescent kick, the cheat 720 kick...etc. However you don't necessarily need to learn these martial arts to train tricking. You can find gym centers specific for teaching x.m.a if you're interested in learning or you can just teach yourself via youtube tutorials like most other trickers do (myself included)

    Not trying to take anything away from these highly athletic young men but is this truly the new standard of physical movement? I think not. Female gymnasts do equally impressive moves on a narrow beam and dare I say that the movements have more grace to them; a lot of these guys are all over the place but I guess it suits them. Male and female artistic gymnastics is what I would consider the standard of agility. Sure these folks are probably better coordinated to do some martial arts sequences but ultimately the gymnastics people would pick them up a lot faster than martial artists would pick up their floor or bar feats.

    • @BraindeadHour
      @BraindeadHour 10 лет назад +15

      How I like to think of it is there's two extremes, tricking is to standard gymnastics what ballet is to breakdancing. One exemplifies grace and balance, while the other focuses less on that but more on power, speed, flow.

    • @bbuster9
      @bbuster9 10 лет назад +8

      BraindeadHour
      biggest difference is that gymnasts are constantly being told to tighten up their movements are powerful but look rigid stiff and uniform. tricking can look all over the place because when u add kicks into the movement just about every axis of rotation is utilised

    • @FloMonKish

    • @BrandonMccuien
      @BrandonMccuien 10 лет назад +13

      I am a high leveled tumbler check my youtube channel and I also am pretty good at tricking and I would have to say this is true but then its also not true.,. BUT actually martial artist and TRICKERS would pick up gymnastics a lot easier. I have seen kids in tricking that have only been tricking for 2 years and they already achieve a triple full...yes may be sloppy but they were not taught either.. with proper teaching anyone is capable of anything yes some people pick things up faster but over martial artist and us tricking athletes would pick up gymnastics faster... I also teach tricking to cheerleaders and GYMNAST... and its very hard for them to pick it up because they are taught straight body and tight body and everything is symmetrical in tumbling. So when I try to teach them tricking, the angles and expression of yourself you must present in tricking messes them up and scares them and unfortunately discouraged them...but as I said before anyone can learn ANYTHING with proper teaching so with me they prevail.
      ps: who cares martial artist, trickers, and gymnast are all AWESOME!
      *keep the peace*

    This is just our birth right. We were told it was here, it was always here. Take the law of correspondence, the only way you can change the outcome is too change your part. Before conjecture, because the new big thing, we had made it to the point, that you could say pure movement or that is what was meant by pure movement. Now with conjecture all is new. Even our birth right can be broken down into little pieces. I like the term "kingdom of ends" myself.

      Liam näslund Just start tricking! Check out www.tricktheory.com/ for more info on how to get started. IT's fun and builds strength in your whole body. You can usually train at your local gymnastics gym during their "open gym" time. There may be a crew in your area that you can link up to and train with to learn, though depending on where you live that can take some digging to locate. Tricking is the greatest thing ever because it combines the fun of kicking shit with the thrill of spinning in circles as fast as you can.

      It is not meant for combat, it is meant for demonstration and fun in the same way that bboying and gymnastics isn't meant for combat. And to answer your question, yes many people can perform a lot of these techniques on a moving target, but wouldn't do so unless they were trying to show off because it is a very risky thing to attempt.

      No cause wen u fight u don't get one of those bouncing mats in real life. It's mostly for show and spectacle. Like ken block, he can put on a show with drifting but he's far from the best at rally

    • @Yautah
      @Yautah 10 лет назад +8

      In martial arts, you try to avoid useless movements.
      But to anwser your question yeah probably, 'cause random ppl don't know how to fight and will probably just be frozen by so much awesomness.
      Someone used to fights or martial arts will probably just kick you while you spin and then proceed to punch you in the balls repeatedly.

    • @SimonDornberger
      @SimonDornberger 10 лет назад

      That isn't the point of freestyle tricking.
      I would like to think that before doing this, they learnt useful martial arts to a sufficient level to be able to, but it also depends what style of martial arts in general.
