He has more enthusiasm in this review than he has had for the past few weeks. Really shows where his comfort zone is.
But this is a totally different form factor of video 👀👀👀 he has to amp up the energy for the shorter vid and also that is helped by the adjustment in editing.

McCormick Vodka is actually VERY good vodka.
Sometimes I've had trouble discerning if our man PVIII is exaggerating his reactions when he does reviews like this or if they are legit. I'm really comfortable saying his reactions to this stuff are 100% legit.

We used to buy this crap to make 'Jungle Juice' or 'Trashcan Punch' at my dorm Freshman year in University.

Although McCormick is the hands down winner of the best bottom shelf vodka in my book, it's still a harsh vodka. But it does taste clean, no metal flavor and low methanol content.
Never drink it straight!

A couple fun facts: Medical grade ethanol is an actual thing. My local compound pharmacy sells 160 proof ethanol right next to 90% isopropyl. Fact 2: A person who was unintentionally poisoned was treated via intravenous top-shelf vodka because the hospital was out of medical grade ethanol.
The lab I worked in as a grad student kept 90% ethanol, and another lab kept research grade cocaine.

It felt like you were doing a speedrun on this. Which is understandable, given the beverage here.
While on one hand I don't want you to have to put yourself through this, on the other hand I want to see more of it cuz it's funny as hell.

As an impoverished and alcoholic archaeologist, I have had some experience in this field, and have a few reccomendations:
- Any Flavored Steel Reserve
- Colt 45/any other malt liquor in this same general category (St. Ides, Kobra, etc.)
- Bootlegger
- Popov
- Vladimir
- Bankers Club

You can't deny that McCormick is low quality, but it's the best quality of cheap vodkas. I've drank more than a dozen cheap vodkas and McCormick is the only one that doesn't give you that cheap vodka hangover. No metal flavor either. It's the only vodka I've drank +50 gallons of. If you want to upgrade your vodka on a budget, try New Amsterdam. Its still cheap, but an upgrade to McCormick.

BTW, many cheap vodkas are just industrial grain alcohol mixed with distilled water. A drop of potato flavoring if you're luck.

I'm not sure how widely available it is, but here in NE PA Jaquin's is a good balanced choice, although it might run you a couple quarters over $5

Montebello Long Island Iced Tea has been a good " a bottle will get me there" for under $5. Oh you can get a few tiny bottles of liquor and get drunk that way too.

The gut rot go-to of my youth was Skol vodka, stuff was nasty but it got the job done.

Plastic bottles that fit well in a brown paper bag or pocket... great for day drinking, backpacking, wasted Wensday is colleges.
This is comedy gold! I have tried Grey Goose, Ketel One, Belvedere, Absolut, Smirnoff, Stoli and this cheap one, McCormick. I don't see any major difference in taste. There is a hint of metallic taste if you do shots. Other than that it is perfectly fine, especially for the price.
Good god man, what's next, gasoline? Gotta love PV3 keeping it authentic by drinking straight from the bottle just like it would be out in the wild.

LOL, doesn’t even use a glass. Takes it the way it was intended, straight from the, um, bottle. Though it should have been wrapped in a paper bag to get the full effect of a top-shelf treat like this.

This was always the stuff we'd drink when my friends and I were underage and couldn't afford anything else. Medical grade vodka is a very succinct description because it tastes *exactly* like rubbing alcohol. Considering you can get a fifth of it for eight dollars it might actually be rubbing alcohol.
Swallow the damn liquor! The secret is you have to BE THE LIQUOR!
Please do a review of Four Freedoms vodka. $10 for a 1.75 liter , yeah you know what that's going to taste like.
