Great question. Love your RULE of 4 List (summarized below)
Rule #1- "People support what they create." You must invite them to participate and be part of the process. Therefore your job is to ASK questions.
Rule #2- Motivate by EMPOWERING them. Many times people don't lack motivation just don't know how to do it. Your job is to ask if they have what they need to do it. Give them the resources or access to them. Empower them with decision making authority and let them try on their own.
Rule #3- Make sure they have clear goals and rewards with out asking directly. You have to help them discover what they want on a SMALL scale. Talk about the win more than the grind.
Rule #4- Remember you are the ROLE model. They have to see you leading. Your job is to share your WHY and distinctions along the way.
Thank you, Brendon for all that you do, inspiring.
Wendi Blum wow Wendi! Love your awesome insight here. It’s so important to show the other person that they contributed themselves. It’s really powerful!
Mind Now - As much as we would want to come in and save the day everyone is on their own life path. Brendon gave valuable insights here to put into action. Hope you have a wonderful day, my friend.
Wendi Blum have you read his book yet?
Thnks wendi
U really help me,,
Great summary, thank you! Watched the entire video, but came back here to review.
Great episode my man! These tips will definitely help anyone who wants to truly motivate and inspire!
I actually stopped watching once my business picked up. I started to lack something and i couldn't figure out what it was . . . Until I randomly watched this video.
I realize where I'm lacking and what I actually have to do.
I inspire to make video's, not for the money but to share my thoughts with others close to me.
I want to make my own income and do this as my chance to speak my mind and feel proud . . .
You've actually changed my life, helping me build my confidence in myself, being better spouse, being better business leader . . . all with out ever directly speaking or meeting me. This is POWERFUL.
Creating a good and strong relationship, being empathetic and understanding, asking the questions they should ask themselves and acting more like a guide and a push to find the answers they need. Listening and giving support ♡
Erika K very well said Erika :)

You're a guy from heaven. God love you, that's what I know, you motivated me everyday!
Thank you. Exactly what I needed to hear right this minute! "People support what they create." Invite them to participate. Your job is to ask questions. I love this.
The people I’ve motivated (not including clients, who technically came to me already motivated) were all motivated by my own energy, belief, and focus on myself - happily and without an agenda to influence them. Seeing me do things they thought was impossible helped them see what was possible for themselves. But I love this angle of how to better encourage people who WANT the motivation but just don’t know how to start. (Also can I just add the audio, lighting, editing, and even background of this video is spot on! You’re motivating me to recreate my own recording space! 😂)
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU 🙌🙌 10000% yes … I was sharing something with someone once and I thought natashaaaa you talk too much … months later they poured gratitude to me and how much my sharing helped them with their struggles, gave them boldness and encouraged them to continue.
Motivation for da da squad.....
This is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT videos for any of us in the Influencer space... thank you!
Thank you. I'm a freshman at my high school and I'm in marching band and pretty much everybody in the band wants me to be be the drum major (the leader/commander of the band) next school year so I'm making sure to be the best leader I could ever be for everybody and you are helping so much
I believe to truly motivate the people around you is to be a positive role model. By constantly improving yourself.
Thank you
Thanks Brendon! Love your work. I am really proud of being part of HPX Team
Yes! If we are not mentors to friends, loved ones, even strangers...we can not be a better people, country, nation and ultimately a better world!
We also tend to approach it the wrong way...even if you are passionately about helping them..
Thank you, Brendon! This is exactly what I needed to hear. Often times I would get myself down for not being able to successfully motivate others, but this puts things in perspective. It's not my responsibility to change others. They have to do it for themselves. I can role model the way and ask questions to empower them.
*The best way to motivate is to lead by example*
No amount of words can make people to take actions, unless they are emotionally convinced
That is done best by showing what you mean
You are commenting here as well! Great job! I am wondering why don’t you have a profile pic with your eyes open and a slight smile?
@@voiceofpassionateprofessionals I guess it conveys my stoic nature
Appreciate your guidance and I do Know it's worth❤
5 minutes in and its brilliant, a way better way of letting the other person feel that the idea is theirs.
Thank you Brendon for a world-class video training. I love it. I love the things that you create.
Great point about responsibility. Relieves some amount of burden even though it's still tough. Great advice.
Thank you for this Brendon you are God’s gift to us who are troubled w/this area 🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️
Role models are what we definitely need in this generation! Great video inspiring!
My sister is top1 in her class but when I saw her she was so lazy, over procrastinated and depressed.
And one day she was watching movies rather than studying and I told her," if I were your classmates it was very easy for me to bit you down, you being like this ". She got very nervous, mad and angry. Actually I am her younger sister with 4 years. And she started to work very hard, and at the recognition day she was again top 1 with 98 average, her past average was 94. She came and thanked me that I was her motivated. And now she is the best student in Harvard university. I am very happy for her
Lesson learned: beat up your sister
Thnks brendon,, sir,,,
posting this from india 8000 miles away...
Its almost 4 am searching throughout night what to deliver today morning 10 am to motivate my team,, to motivate them,, i thnk u for the the things i could never know.. 🙏🙏🙏
Basically, I have to ensure that I am asking what they want, therfore they will do it. However, maybe, they don't know how to do it, so I will also ask them as well as what goals they could have. And lastly, I have to be a role model by sharing my journey and especially my success to motivate them.
You’re amazing Brendon!

Useful and motivating video, Brendon. Thank you.
Teachers need to watch this. Today's generation of learners are the most unmotivated bunch. They only care how they look like on Facebook and Instagram
*By tapping into their why* 🙏

Genius
Hi Brendon, I'm looking for hpx optimized and do not see it on Amazon as of August 2019. Did you take it off Amazon? Did you run out? When is it coming back because I'm interested.
Yeah I was frustrated when I had this convo with my friend. Yeah they just basically said. I'm happy with what I am. I'm like okay then...
Not even to minutes in and this hit me hard. What do I do when I’m the only person in my household that wants that personal growth, happiness and more less positive energy? Obviously it’s a tad more complex than that.
I tried motivating others but I always got burnt. People will think you are a "facilitator" in their lives. I only focus on my life now.
Believe in Yourself you have to take care of yourself first before taking care of others
🙏
Love the introduction. I try too hard to motivate friends. I Love them the way they are. I motivate them by being the best I can be.
Beautiful ♡
Sending love and the best energies your way today :)
I'm here to help my friend lol
This is also leadership lesson
Below is my short summary
Leadership Notes.
1. People support what they create .
If people are not supporting u have not cued them enough - you can do this by Asking questions about their desire , their needs , their hopes ,be genuinely concerned and empathetic.
2.Empower them with Competence and skills.
3. Set rewards and goals.
4. Lead by example.
What happened if they say they don't want to live anymore
Invite people to participate..don't tell, ask
Memorable summary of how to motivate others:
Inspire
Inform
Empower through the storm
Engineer in reverse
(Think in short terms)
And don't forget
share, share, share
Your success story
everywhere
Inspire= Inspire people to build on what they're already involved in
Inform= give them the tools to make them competent and confident
Empower through the storm= don't nanny them to death... let them have room to fail... and talk up their successes
Engineer in reverse= have them think of what they want to achieve and then talk about the steps to get there. However, for many, a monthly goal is more inspiring than a five year goal.
And don't forget to share your success story everywhere= people learn from other people's success stories, so share how you had success so that others can learn from it and be successful too.
Mnemonic created while listening in the car (typed afterwards, of course).
And asking the parents how to motivate them
Start from 4:00
And trys to take their own life
I have been hiding my journey.
Im a hot mess
Great video. Thank you, Brendon. You are always such an inspiration. If you guys want to watch another video on this subject you may like this ruclips.net/video/1Sl59uRYXZs/видео.html

So how do you motivate a crew that have all the training, all the tools, yet they just don’t care? Isn’t this a behavioral issue? A I don’t care mindset. These are people who have always been unmotivated for many many years. One even hoping to get fired. After corporate company took over a family business recently; things went way way downhill rather quickly. The culture has changed unfortunately for all involved. So sad. Everyone is in fear. Except for the one who wants to be fired. It’s so unfortunate; everyone is just a number. Budget and numbers are all that matter. The very people who work extremely hard take the heat for unmotivated, people. It’s not right. Those who have a an excellent work ethic suffer. You can’t hold a gun to your employees head saying hurry up the job is estimated to take 2.5 hours and they take 5 because they are lazy and don’t care and don’t have a manager watching over them on night shift. Why isn’t an employee responsible for their own work ? Doesn’t make sense. So bewildering
🙏
