How to Play Amber Barrier in Conundrum 12 - Gold & Gears Custom Dice Guide

This is the start of my series on playing all 12 Custom Dice in C10-12.
I've set this up as a quick guide with a short and concise breakdown on strategy and die loadup in the first 2-3minutes followed by a full playthrough with commentary for those who want to watch a full run.

Yes, this loadout is designed for the max upgraded dice. I found that the two blue die faces that i have in the loadout to be more consistently useful than compared to the other purple options.

Thanks bro, for starting this series. I believe it would help many players running to complete all-type dice quests at c10. When you have the time, would you be able to see which dice-type and loadout are fastest (& consistent) as a replacement for the 100 elite weekly SU runs? It seems that Difficulty 5 would yield more enchantment dusts, and with bonus payouts per elite, we just need to run for 50 elites to close the week. I am inclined to guess the Pursuit dice is likely best for this.

I finished every custom dice V10 using the double Ruan Mei strat except Company Time where I used the Transaction domain abuse. I just used dice faces where I can copy double abnormal occurrences.

It was the opposite for me where I have completed every V10 dice using pseudo-Company Time strat where I had to end up getting that gossip Curio. Double Ruan Mei required more luck for me

It took me 3 days to complete this dice and 12 days to complete all the hard chalanges (corundum 10 for every dice). Almost all of them closed using erudition and fun paths. Closed using SW, Xueyi, Ruam Mei and Fu Xuan. Allmost all the time tried to catch double Ruan Mei occurrence

I have few questions. What would you consider the best path for this dice and the characters for that path.
I want to run it luke you but I don't have Huo Huo, Argenti and Ruan Mei

Path and characters will depend entirely on what you have. Lately, i've really been enjoying running preservation with Aventurine, makes GnG incredibly easy running him in a mono preservation team.

I have cleared almost all dices, there are four left. This dice is really RNG, although I think Ultra-Remote beacon was the hardest so far. For the time being, I only tried Amber Barier once, and I can say it either requires Ruan Mei event, or specific blessings. Right now, I was not lucky, and got something totally irrelevant. Let's hope next time I will get Fuli/Melancholia during my Preservation run with Jingliu/Ruan Mei/Gepard/Fu Xuan team (this path and strategy to get Remembrance blessings worked fine for the previous Countdown dice, that was also very problematic in Remembrance and Hunt paths).

hei nak, can you make guide "Gloomy Blues" achievement, i still confused about the order

No worries, this one is pretty simple, all you need to do is edit a custom dice and slot in blue faces in every slot. Then you have to go and clear a difficulty 3 or higher run with it to get the achievement.
I recommend doing this with the Data Inflation dice since it's designed around running all blue faces. A neat coincidence is that I literally just dropped a guide on playing this dice!

I had some difficulty with the Pursuit dice, even though halfway through my tries I started abusing the double Ruan Mei strategy. Took me a good 12 hours to finish a complete run.
Maybe I suck at this game lol. Is there really not a way to finish with Pursuit without using double Ruan Mei?

You can try grabbing Banking Part 2 early on and use the expanded planes to stack up fragments and go for a alternate capitalism run

This dice set is so bad. Even on an average run I'm getting at best half of what other dice give by the time I get to the first boss. Haven't managed to clear 10 with it after about 10 hours of grinding so far.

1* Reflection(destruction) & 1* wreath of interlaced pipes(erudition). Always take them and 3* Regression of inequality of annihilation. Otherwise fuxuan won't save😢

19:02 was pain. C12 is disgustingly hard. At some point even your fu xuan, who is arguably the most broken character in the game, could not tank the damage and died. Cant even imagine the type of endgame content mihoyo is going to release down the line.

@nakfr0g I see, I did my first c8 clear with it yesterday on preservation and it was broken, but getting the right curios on the first plane is so tiring😭 and it doesn't help that you need to complete the first domain every scuffed run+you don't get a choice of a curio every run

@@matat_gorg hmm, i have a video of a C10 run where i didn't get a gossip curio until plane 3 that i was considering uploading to show that it doesn't actually matter. I might take another look and have a think about it sharing it if it could be useful for the community.
I do find that if you get consistent transactions and drain the curio pool, the likelihood of the gossip appearing appear is pretty high.
