  • Let's explore the woods in the Ozarks and get some fresh air, as well as identify the best terrain to cut in our first new driveway location and ditch crossing. In today's episode join me for some fresh air as I take you through the process of exploring the woods and terrain to find the best place to create a new driveway location for a new parcel of land that we will be selling from our 575 acre Southern Missouri farm. Stay tuned for the next episode in succession as I will cut the new Ford ditch crossing to create brand new vehicular access to this section of rugged Ozark mountain property where no access was available before. When selling a rugged property having access is paramount and it will increase your chances of selling that property and increase the value of that property as well. If you are new to our channel, we welcome you to join us for all of our next life and land adventures from our new Missouri farm. Here are a couple of links to recent videos:

    Was this Divine Intervention? While many may not believe, I do keep the faith when it comes to living this life and putting certain priorities above others. Join me for today's episode #1 of our new life, land and Ozarks Missouri adventures! Recently we bought a 575 acre Southern Missouri farm in the Ozarks and today will be our first moving trip, our first road trip after legally owning the new 575 acre Missouri farm, and all of the adventures that go along with it. Join us for today's episode as I begin our moving process from Southern Illinois over to Southern Missouri. Today I'll tackle some of the challenges associated with equipment hauling over such a long distance. In this episode I'll be hauling my KIOTI RX7320 powershuttle cab tractor, my home made chisel disc plow and some other equipment on my equipment trailer. Oh, and I almost had a near disasterous collision in the St. Louis area as a car literally broke down only a few cars ahead of me, so while cruising at 65 mph there was a completely stopped car right in front of me and I had nowhere to go in either lane, left or right of me, so I locked up all of the brakes on my Ford F250 and the equipment trailer, and fortunately I don't tailgate so I had enough room to get my truck and equipment trailer stopped just in the nick of time! Also today I'll give you an up close and realtime view of the dead end gravel road that our new 575 acre Missouri farm sits on, and then a look at our OVER a mile long private gravel driveway as well. This is a very exciting episode and we thank you for joining us! If you enjoyed today's video episode please hit the like button and consider subscribing to join us for all of our new life and land adventures from our new land in the Ozarks of Missouri! Thanks for joining us today and we hope you'll consider joining us on our new Missouri homestead and land purchase and all of our future land adventures, land investment adventures and projects, and all of our new Missouri home rehab projects and much more! Oh and by the way if you are interested in making a Missouri land investment and being our neighbors (literally) on a dead end road, and then a dead end, private, gated road enjoying a stunning place to hunt, or build your dream home or a deep woods retreat then you can contact us at Kapper@kapperoutdoors.com

    Love these exploratory walks, get to really see small parts of the land. Looks like you already have several parcels divided up on that map. Might need to move to MO.

    I’ve really been enjoying Sharon and your videos. We also live in Missouri and your videos came across my feed a mth ago. I’ve watched a few of the land search videos and really enjoyed them. But, you’ve been cracking me up with the Sasquatch comments 😂. It’s fun being a believer. But, seriously, I’m super happy for you both on your land purchase and the adventures that lays ahead for you both. Enjoy searching through your Ozark woods. But, I’d wear my gun and maybe a Spot locator incase you need help ( shit happens). Thanks for making the videos and bring us all along. Even enjoy sitting in with your friends and listening to everyone’s ideas.

      That is awesome thanks for the kind words! We appreciate it. Yeah I have to get back in the habit of carrying in the woods! I am going to have to look up the spot locator thing. We don't have cell coverage on much of the lower parts so I think that would be a very wise investment. I know they do make gps locators that can call for help via satellite so this might be the time to pony up for that! Thank you!

      @@KapperOutdoors2.0 I competed in endurance with horses for years in WA state. A lot of times working my horse by myself. It worked off satellites and didn’t need cell service. My husband could track where I was riding. I also paid for the emergency service. So if something was to happen to me, I just had to push the button and help would come(search and rescue services). I bet Sharon would appreciate knowing where you are on that huge property if she got worried. Better safe then sorry 😄

    Hope you applied your tick spray today. New drinking game - a sip of your adult beverage everytime Kap says "microplot" during one of his vlogs. Lol. I love just walking around on my land in the Ozarks (but do most of it in the fall and winter) - always find something new

    You need to fly the property with a drone to find any existing roads and fields.

    We have a Jack FM where I am too. Does your's play mostly 80's and 90's stuff? Mine does, plus some of the typical 70's classic rock. And every sunday they play the old Casey Casum top 40 from that date in 1980 whatever. As to those open areas, they could be glades, which is where rock slab is just under the surface. Grasses can grow in the limited soil above the rock, but trees have a very hard time. Better check each section first before spending all the time dozing your way through for food plots.

    • @KapperOutdoors2.0
      @KapperOutdoors2.0  Месяц назад

      Interesting point. If grass can grow a food plot can grow, I'd just need to be careful working up the dirt for sure. Yeah Jack FM here in Rolla is cool mostly 80's and 90's like you said. Great station!! Thanks have a go

    All those red lines on your phone going to be different parcels you're considering selling? I've always thought you would most likely wind up with your original 250 acres and house. That should still be plenty of land to take care of and allow plenty of privacy and close to double what you owned in Illinois.
