I think we need to go back to worshipping a proper god. Slaanesh is all fun and games on your holidays but when you need a job done, the Murder god is the real grafter.
Great game! Very enjoyable watch. Dwarfs vs dark elves was one of my regular matchups from 6th, 7th, and 8th edition. Felt good seeing the dwarf win. That cannon crew put in the work. I can't wait for more!
Seeing my 400pt character burst like a ripe melon without even hitting anyone really stung. All the while I was thinking "yep definitely should have bought the 4+ ward sv" haha.
Beautiful stuff and I just LOVE 6th Ed.. Just the best. That era has ahuge nostalgia for me, the books, models, the games.. The Stunty War machines were some of the first models I bought when I finally joined WHFB too (playing 40k sicne 1993, dropped it at 2007 or so) So characterful. My favs along with the 6th Ed Longbeard models..
@ja37d-34 yes the Dwarfen Holds has been the most disappointing of the re-releases so far, as aside from the slayers and dragon company, its all 7th/8th sculpts. Would love the 6th Ironbreakers and hammerers as well.
@@Mercenaryminaturepainter Yeah. I nevber liked the late 6th Ed book not the models that came with it and after. My favourite are the late 5th Ed (War Machines!) and early 6th Ed stuff. it has the right feel for me. Dislike the more steam punky trash and the removal of wooden details.. Feels, sterile and wrong.. The metal late 5th Ed cannon and those others that were released around the Grudge of Drong, I really like.. The plastic, chunky ones - with a SHELL for a cannon that bounces its BALL.. makes me wanna puke.. ;)
@@Mercenaryminaturepainter i never had those Ironbreakers as i wanted to be different... lol.. EVERYONE was playing them, so i got a second Longbeard unit instead (also had the Hammerers). Rarely used two units as I had great weapons on all my Dwarf Warriors (25 x2 iirc). i did not get it that being cheap and survivable and supported by a character was clever.. ;) but i DO like those models and would love to see them availble....
Great game gents, glad to the Dwarfs putting the knife ears in their place

Great game really enjoyed as always. Look forward to many more.
Those Dark Elves are going back on the shelf for awhile. Time to bring out the murder trees.

6th Ed Longbeards are one of the best sculpts ever released in my opinion. So much character!
@@Mercenaryminaturepainter Oh yes! A shame they are not back with the Dwarf range.. they WOULD sell.
