Well played dave and his tomb kings great game thoroughly enjoyed. The poor beasts going 1Win and 2 losses on home turf wasn't planned. I think the drunk centigors or general were to blame, haha.

Although I had little option when the Dragon Ogres overran into the Paymaster's unit. I had some hope that with his two wounds and a ward save, albeit a 6+ one that he would somehow be ok. Dead to the tune of three wounds later, I thought it was game over. But only failing three tests, mostly testing on 7s wasn't too bad. Better yet was that everything rallied! Huzzah!

Cracking game gents! I really enjoyed seeing the Dogs of War army. You've inspired me to browse Warlord Games' catalogue again for their landsknechts. Wargames Atlantic's conquistadores would work well for dogs of war too, actually. So many options! What models did you use for the light cavalry?

Always enjoy this channel's Batrep so it will not come as a surprise that I enjoyed this one even more than usual. Very happy that my Dogs of War did themselves proud. Can't deny that my initial elation upon hearing that I was drawn versus Scott and had a chance to get my first victory against him was soon dashed after finding out what he was fielding. I thought I was going to get blasted to bits and my 3 dispel dice would be woefully inadequate. It transpired that while he did of course get quite a few spells through , the Tzeench Gods are fickle indeed and while showered with magic missiles, actual wounds were minimal. Conversely , my 2 crossbow units and the halfling archers did a sterling job. But of course the pivotal moments which did go in my favour were huge; losing the trolls with the General and of course his magic and then the Chaos knights not so much for the additional casting dice but of course their potential hitting power. But my Halfling archers, who managed only one (or two?) wounds on that fateful turn so one of the knights fall and then flee and of course being so close to the table edge, they left the field. Playing a scenario like this is a great and fun challenge. SO thanks again Scott and John for hosting. P.s. I'm going to make you new bridge ;-)

Really glad to get some 6th Ed action, even if it is only watching.. Don´t have too many active players around me. Chatted with ahandfull that may play with me but play TOW or other things really..

Great report. Lovely to see 6th Ed, and happy to see Skaven in action, win or lose.

Cracking game gents! I like both orcs and skaven so any outcome's a good one. Both armies certainly lived up to their reputation for comical randomness this game. One rules issue I'm not sure on: the warp lightning cannon moves like a chariot. Would that mean it takes D6 S6 hits if a misfire result randomly spins it around while it's inside a wood, as happened this game? The chariot rules talk about 'moving over' and 'crossing' difficult terrain, but I'm not sure that language was meant to be read so closely. It wouldn't have changed a thing this game but enquiring minds wish to know. :) I'd probably D6 it if it came up during a game, then house rule it afterwards. Happy Christmas to you too!

Well that was carnage! While I was rooting for the greenskins there's some sympathy for the rats. Just wondering, because I forgotten in previous games, did you know that after a 'Get 'em result on the animosity table you are allowed to turn both units to face in any direction? Only asked because it surely would have meant the demise of the Globadiers.

Hope you've all enjoyed watching our batreps as much as we enjoy making them. There is plenty more in the new year with a campaign on the horizon as well, but until then, merry Christmas and happy new year. Thanks for the support.
