    225g Chocolate
    Topping:
    300g caramel make or buy
    400g Mini Aero bars
    300g Chocolate
    Method:
    To make base
    1. First melt down the chocolate, butter, syrup in a microwave for about 2 min
    2. Put the digestive biscuits into the bowl, you can do this by hand or with a mixer on 1st speed, roughly break down the digestive biscuits
    3. Now add the mixture from microwave into the bowl with digestive biscuits, mix round for about 2 min
    4. Scrape down and put on to lined tray, press out and then roll with a rolling pin
    5. Put into Fridge
    Topping:
    6. Remove from the fridge, and then spread over with the 300g of warmed caramel
    7. Now break up the Aero bar and add it to the top, now let this set in fridge
    8. Add over the top warmed up 300g of chocolate, and then add some grated Aero over the top, then put into fridge
    9. Remove from fridge and cut up into 20 slices
    Caramel Ingredients
    • 100g Unsalted Butter
    • 19g Caster Sugar
    • 25g Golden Syrup
    • 198g Condensed Milk
    1. In a large saucepan pour the condensed milk, butter, sugar, and golden syrup and melt on a medium heat till the sugar has dissolved - stir frequently to stop anything from catching.
    2. Once the sugar has dissolved, turn the heat up high and let the mixture come to boiling point and boil for 5-7 minutes stiring constantly so that the mixture doesn’t catch. BE CAREFUL as the mixture is VERY hot and can burn you if it splashes back!
    3. The mixture will be ready when it has changed to a slightly darker golden colour, and has thickened to a soft fudge texture!

That was awesome! There is no way you could make any profit on those, that is a lot of products you put in there, but does it look great! I could taste them. We have a product over here similar to aero mint, but I don't think it has the proper consistency as Aero. And yes, I agree, mint is so special it should only be for Christmas.

hi crazy Baker, just watched your video,I make loads of different types of these chocolate trays, can you tell me why you use golden syrup in this, and plus I really want to make my own chocolate ,could you please give me the recipe for this please.

Hi welcome to my channel, I use golden syrup in the recipe because it in the recipe but in saying that you can use all types of syrup, now my thinking is because it's a pro recipe for Bakers the golden syrup helps to keep the base together for retail purposes, with out it it's a cheese cake base which brake easy. I have recipes for most things but as to chocolate it's a no, I just buy all types of chocolate in, if I had the recipe I would send to you hope this helps laters Steve

@@crazybaker1 thankyou very much for replying,I've always made my areo rocky rd and other flavour's just using melted chocolate, no butter or syrup, so I just wondered what reason you add it for.😊
