Team: Mala (Kingisher, tends to chill on my head when traveling), Celes (Rataroo, due to Mala's (bad) example (not like I discourage either of them), they also refuse to stay in a pokeball and instead stay on my shoulder and chat my ears of when talking to Mala & I)
When I encounter a Cyrocks, wanting to catch it, Celes kicks up a biiiit of a fuss over being The fighting pokemon on the team before teaming up with Mala to dispatch every unsuspecting Cyrocks that they pass and only stop when Celes flies straight into a wall because they were too excited. Of course I patch them up because the silly thing is still my spoiled baby.
When team Snooze asks, I say I'm a Zubat (does this unlock a zubat backpack? like a zubat colored backpack with zubat wings sewn onto it? If I ever get around drawing this team, imma gonna give myself a zubat backpack :P).
Later Mala makes a similar fuss as Celes did, but over me checking out a Corvidie. At least this time the two pokemon don't act like your typical DnD party and agree to only fighting the one we encountered so they learn how to deal with this kind of mon.
Due to all the damage Mala and Celes did to the local populations, they felt quite cocky before encountering professor's pokemon. Well they still had to work a bit and finally agreed that we could get another teammate - but only if they both agree to it!

I can't decide on the the starter till I know what they evolve into cause I like all three
Embull, Rataroo, and Corvidie would be my main team at this stage, but as with most regions, I’d try to at least have every Pokemon currently available at least registered into my Pokédex!

Of course I’d catch everything and train them to at least know what they evolve into. If they have interesting evolutions I may add them as well.
2:01 Cyrocks has higher base stats than Wigglytuff, Pelipper. Perrserker, Fearow, Lairon (Aron is shown in this same cave), Marowak, Linoone, Azumarill, Metang, Charmeleon, and several midgame Pokemon. WTF is that thing doing in the first route?!?
It’s stats were the reason why I didn’t catch it, since I felt like that it would make the early game too easy. The other early mons actually have better stats than their counterparts, like Ratoroo has a 310 BST and Capon has a 320 BST.
@@awesometoadultimate8562 Most of the mons have abysmal abilities (many so far have Run Away as primary ability). Cyrocks having Iron Fist makes this thing really strong for most of this series most likely (unless it's movepool is complete garbage). It's typing is also the same as Terrakion, which is sort of it's setback, being weak to Steel, Psychic, Fairy, Fighting, Water, Grass, and Ground.

My team for now is the grass starter (nickname Nico) and barbug (nickname Speaks) Snoze (Nickname Mellow) Corvidie (Nickname Grimnap)
I like how both episodes premiered at the same time
Seeing the 1st 2 episodes already give me high hopes of what this could become!

Im digging the Greek influences, and hope you’re going to use Greek mythological for future gym leaders / elite 4. I would love to see a Medusa inspired trainer who uses status moves like glare, toxic, attract, toxic spikes, and thunder wave with some kind of Steel/poison type serpent ace Pokémon.

Absolutely love the inclusion of Lawrence!!! I marked out when I first heard his familiar voice in Cardinal & it’s only fitting & perfect to include him here in Tempest where Lawrence & the creator of Tempest have a very particular connection 😉

I got a Twiguana named Conner and a Rataroo named Mad Hops Yo and an Aron named Erin and a Snebble named Snek.

I love the idea of a snoze cuddling up to me while I'm asleep under a tree. That's adorable
My team so far:
Kinfisher (I call her Kinnie) who despite having a timid nature is highly curious. Turns out she has a severe phobia of pokeballs so she spends most of the journey on my shoulder. Turns out she also has a keen eye on her as she spotted items like potions and pokeballs and so on before I did
Corvidie (This nightmare's yet to earn a nickname from me) who has a naughty nature and tends to bully Kinnie for her timidity and appears to be somewhat vain because he's under the delusion that him and the Big-Guy are rivals of something, not quite sure of what yet though
Ratoroo (I go in between calling him Tough-Guy or Big-Guy) who's a complete contrast Kinnie, having a bold nature that leaves him with good endurance in a fight, after Corvidie was added to the mix, he's become really protective of Kinnie and there's been more fights with these two than any trainer on this journey so far
Team: Twiguana, Rateroo, Pichu, and Corvidie
They may have kept me from bringing my Pokémon, but they didn’t stop me from bringing my Z Crystals and Mega Ring. I more than surprise the first trainer with the grass z move and Rateroo womps team Snooze
Definitely have Embull, Cyrocks, and Corvidie on the team so far. They all seem badass and feel like a balanced team!

and the best thing of all I get to use snebble because I couldn't use during Pokemon cardinal because I had the grass starter but this time I can so yea aslo are there more cameos because I think young crim could make an appearance seeing how he and the rival are pretty similar maybe he went to sloylimpia to hide with some relatives and seek his redemption
very fun- I added snebble to my team (despite the fact that it could remind the islanders of my status as an outsider). As I have kinfisher and jumparoo I was on the lookout for any ground type I could grab as soon as possible.
My team so far is the Grass starter, Capon, the route 1 bug, and the fighting type dood
The main theme song of Pokémon Tempest really reminds me of Pokémon Colosseum and it really warms my heart whenever I hear it at the beginning. Also, I can’t wait to see all of the Pokémon “Gym” leaders and their coins!

Seeing Lawrence makes me so happy
Exploring the region and encountering new Pokémon has always been one of my favorite parts of being a champion, and I log every one I encounter into my Pokédex. However, I don’t add as many to my team after catching my Barbug and Ratoroo. I like to keep my party open for Pokémon that really catch my eye in the future. I do, however, decide that I have to catch a Corvidie as soon as I’ve seen one. There’s no way I’d let a highly intelligent ghost bird get away, even if that does mean that I have two flying types now.
Valentine squeed when she saw the Snoze, and immediately searched her pokedex on where to find one, backtracking immediately to catch the fluffy normal-type. Much like the goat-mon from earlier, she also took note of Hermitte for later. While the one pokemon she brought along was of course strong, she chose to focus on raising her slowly growing team of three and letting Meganium sit back for important battles.
2 episodes in one day? Sweet. Also perfect. Seems like Cass isn't the only one with some predjudice against offlanders. If this goes all the way to the champion, I worry he won't even let us battle despite having the gym coins. Oh well, suppose that's a bridge that needs burning on a different day.

I normally nickname my -mon's after I know their final forms, and I name them after characters from the media I'm currently obsessed with. But since I don't have the former awareness: Twiguana is Tali, Rateroo is Rose, and Corvidie is Chakwas. Many good characters are named Rose, and the other two are from 'Mass Effect.'

Team Recap:
Colchis: surprisingly he actually made fast friends with Odin when I caught him. The two have been inseparable since then, though he always makes time to play. I'm glad for him, though he is still quite introverted around anyone else.
Tox: I finally cracked his shell a little(so to speak). Surprisingly, he has a huge heart and would throw himself in front of an attack to protect the team. He just doesn't like to show his thoughts or feelings, so we still let him be.
Slasher: when I caught Odin, she was definitely fearful she was about to be replaced. She had no fear however, as I plan on keeping her around. I told her how in the Norcloh region I had kept my snebble in the region, despite the fact that it overlapped with Canada's(my starter) rock typing. She visibly perked up when I told her the story.
Artifact: she is quite the feisty girl, and formed a fast friendship with Slasher, which makes sense as they're the only girls on the team. She also helps train her best friend, as they both share the desire to become stronger. It is truly a sight to behold, their practice bouts.
Odin: easily the smartest member of the team, he tends to be hanging with Colchis most of the time. His ghost typing makes the others a bit uneasy, but Colchis doesn't mind. The strangest thing about him is his diet. When we were passing a fallen slakoth, he wasted no time in consuming it, which made everyone, Colchis and me included, kinda uncomfortable. We got him to agree not to eat the dead when we were around, or at the least awake, which is a good thing for everyone.
Great episodes! Team update from last part: Kinfisher, Barbug, Ratoroo, Snebble, Snoze (I'd definitely backtrack to grab one), and Corvidie (can't pass up a good raven, even though I already have a bird). It's a little lopsided and very weak to Rock, but that happens sometimes.
Definitely catching a corvidie and naming it "Poe" and replacing pichu on my team with a cyrock... Not sure if I'll nickname that one. I don't usually nickname my pokemon anyway, but can't resist Poe.
Did a lot of shifting this episode. So far, the team is Beefcake the Embull, Remmy the Snoze, Ignatious the Snebble, and Charon the Corvidie
I like how the evil team this time around seems to be a bunch of sleepy hedonists.
Charon really came in clutch against Hermite, even with the slight type disadvantage.
Also, the Professor's Snebble must have very, very strong genes.
My team so far:
Twiguana (nicknamed "Ziggy"), Aron, Munchlax (nicknamed "Grizz"), Cyrox (nicknamed "Sparta"), Pichu (nicknamed "Toto" - "Pichu all the way - Rosanna, yeah"), and Corvidie (nicknamed "Lestrange").
But, I'd definitely catch every Pokemon - and I mean _every_ Pokemon - to fill my Pokedex, and make powerful, balanced teams. I _am_ the Champion, after all.
kinfisher (nickname Findy) barboach (Spindle) and cyrocks (nickname Titan) cant wait to "catch" some new friends (might spend time "grinding" for corvidie who im guessing is a regional spinoff of the corviknight line)

At this point, I’d be using Kinfisher, Cyrock, Rataroo, and Capon as my mains, probably with Pichu to cover water and flying weaknesses. The bug type from the last episode is likely still on the team, but not seeing much action.

ive been rolling up random nature + personality traits for each of my pokemon and making lil mini dynamics as we go along
my team so far:
"Rojo" the Embull; Bashful, mischievous
"Wasp" the Barbug; Adamant, quick tempered
"Ragweed" the Rataroo; Relaxed, sturdy body
"Cookie" the Snebble; Bashful, strong willed
"Grizzle" the Corvidie; Naive, quick tempered
So far Rojo and Ragweed are good buddies, they like to tease Wasp, who is more serious and focused about battling. She became fast friends with Cookie since she wasn't as much of a trouble maker. Cookie is the peppy cheerful one of the group and thinks Wasp seems really cool and strong (they both have small crush on eachother). And finally after much searching Grizzle is the newbie of the batch! He has a rival named Clawfoot he wants to face again one day. Since he's more naive and quick tempered however he is even more susceptible to pranks than Wasp, and Rojo and Ragweed have taken to poking fun at him just as much. (I really think Hermit us so cute though so it will be a hard choice to keep him or it once im able to find one)
I really like how the region looks. It looks so full of places to explore yet gives only a little away.
I'd try to use a themed team so if I'm going with flying types I'll have Corvidie, Hoothoot, Kinfisher, and Capon.
Hello again Jolath from the Krynth-no'ap region here. This time, to add to my team, of Kinfisher (King), Capon (Princess) and Rataroo (Jester), I add a Cyrocks (Prince). By now the team are getting used to each other. While I capture them, they all like to walk beside me. King and Princess on my shoulders, with Prince and Jester side by side, next to me, as they practise. I may not look like a fighting champion, but with my team, we do get some training in. Or rather they do, while I mostly watch.
After hearing about Corvidie, my team and I work together to capture one. It enjoys flying over head, for now, like a protector. I all it Knight, because of that. The rest we capture and box.
I'm doing the first two episodes together because I only decided to comment after I watched most of episode 2 so it was easier.

Backstory (I didn't mean this to get so long but it turns out that Drap has had a lot going on so far in his life): Drap was born on Solympia but his family left when he was four years old to Sinnoh, where he started his first Pokemon journey with a Turtwig by his side at the age of twelve, eventually he captured a Skorupi which evolved into Drapion and quickly became his ace that he became known for. During his journey through the Sinnoh region he defeated Team Galactic and captured Dialga and Giratina but he allows them to roam and continue on their duties in the Pokemon world so he rarely has a chance to use them in battle. Drap then defeated the Elite Four and the Champion Cynthia becoming Champion in his own right but he gave up the role back to Cynthia as he considered her his superior in the day to day duties of a Champion.
He journeyed onto Unova and gained a new starter Oshawott for that new journey. He met N and fought Team Plasma and became the Hero of Ideals fighting against the Hero of Truth, N with Zekrom against N’s Reshiram after awakening Zekrom from the Dark Stone. Eventually Drap overcame N stopping N from dividing humans and Pokemon forever, they became friends and fought against Ghetsis who had been manipulating N for his own ends. Team Plasma, now broken, was cast to the winds.
N left the Unova region with Reshiram while Drap overcame the Pokemon League once more becoming Champion of Unova where he stayed until rumours of Team Plasma reforming came to him. He fought against Ghetsis who had acquired Kyurem and was planning to use him to conquer the Unova region. Zekrom after the battle against Ghetsis returned to dormancy as the Dark Stone which Drap keeps very close to him at all times. Kyurem was put into a secure Pokeball storage in a far off region.
Drap decided that it was time for a new adventure and had a series of Championship bouts with Unovan trainers, Iris, the Dragon Master, managed to beat his champion team becoming Champion of Unova.
Now he journeys to Solympia to attempt to become Champion of his home region at the age of eighteen.
Trainer Log, Day 1: "Mum, I’ve arrived in Solympia and met with Professor Dodonna in Trickle Town and was granted the starter Pokemon Kinfisher. Sadly, I couldn’t bring any of my pokemon from outside the island so I left my pokemon with N on, well I can’t say where, N wants to be left alone with the pokemon of his new home and so I will not say where he is in this log but anyway, I did bring one item of importance that I’m sure I will not have to use while on Solympia.
Guess who I met, not long after being given my starter, Cass! Yeah that Cass! It’s been almost fifteen years since we last saw each other. She seemed angry until she recognised me. We've agreed that we’ll adventure together for at least a little while though we are planning to capture pokemon on our own so we can have some surprises for our future battles. We’ve already had our first battle, Cass wasn’t very difficult though Kinfisher didn’t seem very ready for battling but she did alright for such a young pokemon and Cass was a natural battler.
We were both given Solympian Pokedexes along with plenty of pokeballs. Cass and I talked a lot about why she was angry and yeah I get why she’s angry, a lot of outsiders have recently been coming onto the island and making a big mess. She doesn’t really have problems with 'Stormers' as she calls them being on the island, she just doesn’t want Solympia’s pokemon and culture to be destroyed by the newcomers.
Anyway we travelled on Route 1 and I captured plenty of new pokemon which are the pokemon that I sent the Pokedex entries to you. I haven’t been sending my extra pokemon to the PC, just keeping them in my Amazebox so I can spend plenty of my time with my new pokemon training them.
Cass and I fought a couple of Team Snooze grunts, didn’t bother remembering their names, I mean they clearly weren’t important. I doubt I’ll be seeing them anytime soon. Cass stormed off after the battle to cool off, they really annoyed her. That night I caught another Pokemon Corvidie and finally arrived at Professor Lawrence’s house. Professor Lawrence was from Norchlo and I battled with him. It was good that Cass wasn’t around or she would have been really angry with Lawrence for a couple of reasons.
I have agreed to show Solympia that Stormers and Solympians could coexist together by beating all of the Gym Leaders and going up Mount Solympia and beating the Will of the Island, the Champion of Solympia.
Anyway, that’s Cass, she’s found my camping spot, we’ll eat then go to bed, it’s been a very busy first day and I doubt that it’s going to be much calmer from now on. Talk soon Mum, love you."
Wow, that was longer than I thought it was going to be but it was lots of fun to write.
Will shorten title to journey notes for ease: Picked up a Munchlax and Snebble. Team Snooze were pushovers. I caught a Corvidie. I wasn't expecting to see Lawrence here in Solympia. I last saw him in the Norcloh Region and I did battle with him. I learned about the Pokemon League and its Champion. Time to go and collect those gym coins.
Current team: Kinfisher, Barbug, Pichu, Munchlax, Snebble, and Corvidie.
Snebble is way too adorable to pass up, and she'll make a brilliant addition to my team. I'll name her Grace (a portmanteau of granite + snake). Corvidie may look grim and intimidating, but I've been watching other corvids (like jackdaws, crows and jays) for years now, so I can see beneath his outside demeanor and see that he's really a big softie. I'll call him Jack (because of jackdaws and Jack the ripper - a notorious killer in the late 1800s - to maintain his outward spooky appearance) and when nobody's looking he loves nothing more than a head scritch, but he is always grim around others.
These two new additions make my team now: kinfisher (named Sparke), barbug (named Rick), ratoroo (named Joey), Snebble (Grace), and corvidie (Jack).
I'm so hyped for the rest of this series, I can't wait to see what my adorable team evolves into!

I do hope I have an opportunity to get a corvidie on another route (I'm doing a nuzlocke-style thing here, so only one per route for me, and my route 1 was Flick. He and Rubato don't seem to get along very well, but I hope they'll warm up with time.)

Getting close to a full team already, love these fakemon.
The Team: Brightbill the Kinfisher, Jack the Ratoroo, Spur the Capon, Slate the Cyrocks, Dreamstate the Snoze. Hearing rumours of Corvidie, my team and I patiently hunt for and capture one.
I just noticed half my team is flying type... perhaps I'm a closet birdkeeper in this region? Only time will tell.

Ep.2 Team: 'Flying Fisher' the Kinfisher,'Cappy' the Capon,'Hirocks' the Cyrocks,'Dwebble' the Snebble and 'Corvilive' the Corvidie.
The new Pokemon are incredible! Cyrocks and Corvidie look so cool and Snebble is absolutely adorable, my current team would be as follows.

I know this is just a sort of novel. But would love if this became an actual game:)
We aren't expecting to enter a double battle today, but after the trouble we've had with the wild cyrockses, a group of normal types is a welcome relief - especially when Azael figures out *spark* while battling Mellow's hoothoot. Given the excitement, we hurry out of the cave and take some well-deserved rest on the other side.
The first - and only - corvidie we see is a delight to find in the early evening gloom, but try as I might, they refuse to join my team. It costs me several pokeballs and no small amount of pride, but Azael chases them away with a *spark* and we go on our way. Lawrence's challenge is not entirely a surprise, though his team poses a tough battle. It's a close one, but Azael proves invaluable with her knowledge of *nuzzle* and *baby doll eyes* and in the end, we manage to chip away at our opponents until victory. Accepting his request, my team and I set out with a new goal in mind.
My actual team is:

Haven't done this for a while. Wow, having some Cardinal nastolgia here. But honestly, this is going to be great! Can't wait to see what Tempest has in store for us. Definitely will be looking towards each Fakemon Friday!

Going through the cave system was actually quite difficult.
I decided to catch a Cyrocks immediately upon seeing it. I had a little bit of a tough time with it tho.
My current team,(Mina the Embull, Captaian the special Capon, and Needle the Barbug) all had a tough time with the rock attacks of the pokemon. After a very arduous battle I managed to catch myself a Cyrocks and named him Gilgamesh!
After the battles with the Snooze grunts and the Professor, I was quite worn out (as were my pokemon). Thankfully Professor Lawrence let me stay the night in the area to rest.
Now well rested, my pokemon and I head out with our new goal of collecting all the Gym Coins!

Well, I'm already feeling affirmed in my choices of Twiguana and Rataroo.
In the cave, with their type advantages, we managed to catch a Skebble!
Moving on to the next route, Skebble proved his worth to the team. We came across a Corvidie that Twiguana and Rataroo struggled against.
However, Skebble was immune to Corvidie's flying attacks, while his rock attacks gave him a type advantage. Coming through for the team, with his help, I managed to catch a Corvidie! I'm ready for the gym!
My team as of Episode 2:
Twiguana - Grass
Rataroo - Fighting
Skebble - Ground/Rock
Corvidie - Flying/Ghost
Starter: Twiguana (Nicknamed Twiggy because why not)
Pokemon: Corvidie (Nicknamed Nevermore)

Once again, strictly reactions this particular Champion will have in this epic. Sidenote, I really like this series, this and the Norcloh one feel like genuine games being played through in a believable manner. I wonder if Gnoggin and Lockstin are gonna do something like this when they finish the Kaskade creating. They've certainly got the same amount of creativity as you, HoopsandHipHop and Truegreen7.
Alright, headed through Route 1, and now on to this strange series of cavernous tunnels. Ooh, an Aron! Let's see, that makes for:

Though I will be keeping this Cyrocks, something tells me holding onto it is gonna pay off. Ain't that right, Nobody?
Um, not really, mates. Heck, I'm mainly nocturnal most of the time, so no judgement here. But if you're that insistent on a battle, I can oblige. Also, Team Snooze? Man, the gimmicks these rivals get are getting weirder and weirder... (Second sidenote, no actual smack-talk about the team itself, it's actually kinda funny.) Aww, I admit your Snoze looks pretty cute, though.
O.O Okay, NOW Casshole has a good reason to distrust Stormers. Look, I may still think she's a real Mudbray, but building a big holiday resort would be a disaster for this Region's wildlife! (...And I think I just realized what the theme of this game might mean. Not gonna lie, if that is the case, it's pretty good commentary on the use of colonialization and the impacts of change on places that've been isolated for likely millions of years like Australia or the Galapagos. Or heck, even Japan's own interactions with the U.S. during the last years of their own isolation since the 1600s.)
Hmm, I'm loving this Corvidie thing, I'll try catching that!
Ah, it's been far too long, Professor! I'm glad you're both okay and still rocking that Theodore Roosevelt like attitude. And, if it means Cass will get off my back, I'll be more than happy to do it! Besides, I could never turn down someone as exuberant as you. Reminds me of Wattson when I took on the Hoenn league many years ago.

I continue my journey, having just made friends with Twiguana, Barbug, Capon, and Ratoroo. As I enter the cave, I catch myself, two new friends, in Cyrocks and Snebble, making that a full team of 6. When I enter the north side of Route 01, I find it hard to catch a Corvidie, but as I keep persisting, it's finally caught and replaces Ratoroo in the team for now. And with that, I stand with a full team that consists of Twiguana, Barbug, Capon, Cyrocks, Snebble, and Corvidie.
I'm going with Embull (named Bronze for the bronze bull inspiration)
Rataroo (named Sky)
Barbug (named Prickles)
Corvidie (named Murder after a murder of crows assuming the game would allow it)

This episode I'll add a snoze and corvidie to my team of embull, barbug and ratoroo
Loco the Twiguana, Snoop the Barbug, Hyan the Pichu, Ratoroo, Thomp the Snebble, and Corvidie. Quite the team that's building up I'll say, I hope we don't upset too many people in the next town when we beat the schnoz outta the 1st gym leader 🙌✨
The Cyrocks I faced upon entering the cave was a tough fight but I managed to defeat it. It wasn't an easy fight, perhaps I'll come back later and catch myself one. For now, though, I am more interrested in the voice I heard earlier. Upon walking furhter in, I encountered two people that sounded completely different from the first voice.
They really liked talking about sleeping and snoozing. They are also aparently a part of some team named Team Snooze but in all honesty, they do not seem all that threatening. Still, I will keep my eye on them. The battle against their pokemon was a quick and easy one as well. I swiftly made my way out of the cave and to more of Route 1. By the time I did, it was sunset. I ended up catching a pokemon named Corvidie, who I added to my team.
I encountered a man named Professor Lawrance, who turned out to be the one behind the voice I heard earlier. He also came here from a region named Norchlo but ended up stranded here due to the Tempests, which I am eager to learn more about. Apparently this is the man Professor Dodona wanted me to meet. I like him already, he reminds me of Alder. The battle against Lawrance was a simple thanks to Twiguana and Corvidie; though his Hermitte was a bit of trouble.
I am looking forward to meeting this Region's champion, he sounds like a very interesting person. I also gained an explaination for Cass's attitude towards me, which I can understand. However, I do hope to show her - and the rest of the Region - that outsiders aren't a bad thing.

Two new additions to my team here. A male Aron I'll name Ferron as a pun on an old word for iron, and after taking the time to find one, a female Corvidie, who the name Morgana just seems to be made for. Time to train up a bit before entering Rumble Town!

Tempest Journal Entry #2:
I was travelling through a cave on my way to meet the professor's friend, I found a pokemon called Aron, I think i've heard of it being from a region called Hoenn, I caught it and named it Titanium, pretty good right? But then I heard some rucuss up ahead and found some people in snorlax onezys claiming to be part of some... "Snooze" team, odd, I left the cave by nightfall and felt a chill go up my spine... A giant bird pokemon flew down and tried to snatch up Needle! It seemed to be incredibly hurt by his needles (heh) though, and flew off, guess the pokedex wasn't lying when it said this thing can sting.
I eventually met up with the professor's friend who, after a battle, told me about this region's gym challenge, it seems this region may not have 8 gyms, but that's to find out I guess...
Well, I came here for adventure, seems I've found it, I wonder if I can truly defeat this "Will of the Island?"...

Kinfisher named Blade, aa rataroo named Tai and a Corvide named Zagerus. I may not keep them all by the end but the end but these caught my eye so far.
Lots of rock and flying types early make me think the first gym is bug type but calling out a ghost type as useful especially makes me wonder if the first gym is psychic or normal.
Passageway Route: absolutely catching a Snebble.

Ooh fantastic. Adding Munchlax, but I'm sure I'm out of pokeballs until I get to town and a pokemart. Will have to return for the ghost/bird tonight.

Wasnt so sure on the route 1 dudes. But the ones in the sub-Solympus cavern sure tickle my fancy. I ain't leaving unless it's with a brand new rocky trio of Cyrocks, Aron, and Snebble. And while I'm there, totally taking a Corvidie if the opportunity presents. Looks awesome, I love ghost types, and it's the only pokemon on my team so far not scared off by a puddle.
I caught a few too many Pokémon on the early routes, expecting every battle to be as hard as the type disadvantage rival fight. I ended up using all five of my original poke balls, and then found three in the cave and used one. My team currently consists of Twig the Twiguana, Arthur the Aron, Gala the Capon, Tyson the Cyrocks, Spike the Barbug, and Norman the Slakoth, with my Corvidie named Dusk currently in the PC

I wonder how Agate would feel if I told them that named one of my pokemon after them. Probably miffed that that pokemon in question is an invasive species. They would probably make fun of me for having two flying types, but Omen was a rare pokemon according to the local dex.
I also met some fellow “Stormers” in a cave today. The first was oddly Team Snooze members that didn’t appreciate my zubat joke as a humorous situation diffuser. We are allowed to battle during journey years, but I try to avoid it when I can. I swear if this Snooze Land idea ends up upsetting local legendaries I will…
The second non-Solympian I met was the former professor/gym leader of Norchol, also the one responsible for the snebble problem. After another unavoidably battle, he tells me about the “Will of the Island” (a rather pompous title for someone whose the same rank as me). Much like Galar, they only speak in pokemon battles, and participating in their league seems like the only way I can drum up goodwill for my region. I will update you on my first attempt to earn a coin next week
I really love the world you’ve made here. Genuinely so cool and it makes me wish this was a true Pokémon game.
