he is literally insane and hes only a senior in high school
Soloist is like the Shohei Ohtani of jazz - plays two totally different instruments at a high level!
that's what i was gonna say, and who knows maybe he plays other instruments well
many of them do
hard to believe these guys didn’t place. they sound way more sophisticated than really any of the top 3

how about that pianist? great solo!
First, the drummers face at the end (5:14)is funny but secondly, I wonder which instrument the soloist learned first? My guess is tenor because I think he had a better sound on that than trumpet, although his trumpet sound is amazing either way.
Yup I learned saxophone first! Started trumpet 3 years after
