Hi everyone, in this video I cover a Googleyness & Leadership behavioral question. As always, my behavioral answers in these videos end up being a little longer than ideal, but I really hope this video continues to help you structure your behavioral answers!
Jeff, I can't thank you enough for videos you've posted and guidance on how to prepare and what to expect for Google interviews. Your videos were almost the only material I used to prepare, I finished the whole process today (2x RRK, GCA, Googleyness and Leadership) , stressful and lengthy but I was ready, thanks to YOU! So until I get final feedback and no matter how it goes, Thank you for helping me getting ready and having a shot in this whole thing.
Hey Jeff love your channel videos are super helpful I had my Tech interview for DT 2 last week think I did really well so we shall see Im getting ready for the rest of the interviews
Hello Jeff, thank you for all the great videos and I find them very beneficial. Could you please do one for commodity manager? Thank you in advance, Jeff!
@Kartalizm1903, I strongly recommend using ChatGPT to help you create practice interview questions. The reason why I love using ChatGPT is because you will never run out of questions!
hey Jeff this is really awesome.. really reflected on google's principals.. would you be able to do example of interview for governement/contractor cloud engineer?
@joenguyenps, thanks for the positive feedback! I take all video requests seriously and I will add this to my list. It is very specific and I try to focus on videos that cast a wider net, but again, I will consider doing this video in the future, I did a more generic CE video that you should check out - ruclips.net/video/GtEUL3xbAZ8/видео.html
@@jeffhsipepi Thank you Jeff! I happened to come across your video that you mentioned and watching it now. Really helpful for me going into my interview next week! But I will very look forward to seeing your video with the role I mentioned previously of course. Thank you for taking the time to do it!
Hi Jeff, Really need your help on this question I am asked often since I left my last three companies in ~1.5 yrs each - "Why are you looking out again / Why switch so frequently?" Truth is for better job profile & better work environment - How do I answer this one in a Google AE interview?
Pra Nar, you simply want to keep everything positive and focus on the fact that you have been very fortunate to continually work for great companies and continually be progressively better opportunities.
Hello, Jeff. Thanks for the video :) I could get a full image of how to prepare for this type of questions. May I ask whether Google informs me what type of interview will be going on such as RRK so that I can focus on each type for each round? Or all types of question (RRK, G&L, GCA) can be mixed in each round? I just passed the screening interview and wait for the schedule for interview with a hiring manager for your information !
JINSUNG, your Recruiter should tell you the focus area of each interview. If for any reason they don't tell you or say it's confidential. Simply say, thank you, but I am a little confused, many of my friends are interviewing with Google and they are being told the focus area. They should tell you, there is nothing confidential about the focus area of the interview. But you can be, and should expect to be asked behavioral and hypothetical questions in all rounds.
@@jeffhsipepi Thanks Jeff. I found that my recruiter recommended me to prepare behavioral questions and hypothetical questions based on all 4 attributes (f/r GCA to G&L), meaning that no focus area I guess. Also, Since my interviewer has the same background of my role so i think RRK may be asked too :) Thanks for your suggestion !
Ankit, so the reason I liked this comment is because it is important for those looking from the outside in, to know that this is not a true statement. Google looks for the same thing in interview answers that all companies look for, structure, organization, and depth. But bookish/internet answers won't sound real and will not hold up, especially in the G&L interview.
@jcw8706, I personally have faced this type of scenario multiple times in my corporate career and as an Entrepreneur, but if you are struggling to find the ideal example remember, positive doesn't always mean easy or perfect, it simply means the end result was good.

Thank you, Jeff! Any chance you can give some example questions a Startup Manager / Scale Manager can expect? This is extremely helpful, thank you!

Google doesnt care about real time googleyness answers, they expect some bookish / internet answers

Are you kidding me??? This is a perfect example of how things look good on papaer but dont translate into real life!!!
