I do like the shorter format in terms of time management in my personal life, however I do feel it takes away the appreciation aspect of the sheer amount of time it takes to make this content. Not a lot of people put as much effort in as you do, idk I have not decided yet XD Love the content !!
True. There's absolutely a trade off. It's why I've been reluctant to make them this short. But I think it's worth a try if more people get value from my videos.
Torn on the length. I do prefer 30 minutes, However with some content providers, who you can tell put in the effort to make great videos, it feels too short or cut off. This one seemed just right but your stream was cut 3 hours early as well. (aggravating crashes!!!) With this kind of repetitive build I think the 30 minute format was perfect for what was done, However when you start new projects in the future I think 30 minutes will be to short to show off all the work you put into it and you will be trying to cut way too much out to have a cohesive video. Maybe break it down into part one and release a second video of part two on Wednesdays. You put in way to much time and effort into really enjoyable streams to be cutting yourself short to fit a single 30 minute video a week. Just my scents.
Appreciate the feedback. It's a tough choice for sure. But I want to first even see if people (and youtube) respond better to shorter vids. Maybe 40 mins for the repetitive ones, push to an hour for episodes with more content.
