Like you and like the thousands of Sir's students I am also so enamoured by Sir's teaching, his special touch demeanor, making everyone feel he or she is special to sir..May his soul rest in peace.On a lighter note his first gem in our class was 'carbuncle over kyphosis'
Thank u dear dr. Venu for remembering our late, highly talented, humble and ever loving JOY PHILIP Sir. Though I was not in his unit during my M. B. B. S study in TVM Med. College, I tried to attend his clinical classes in wards. He helped us always remember difficult terminologies in general medicine with acronyms. Using simple terminologies with a sense of humour, medical students could remember things easily.This is special only to our beloved Joy Philip Sir. While I was GH, Tvm Supdt., I used to contact him for official purposes and he always wished me good luck and blessings.He was such a nice God fearing person. Nobody can replace such a dedicated physician now. May his soul rest in peace. Thanks Dr. Venu. Dr. Faseelath.

Really one can't see such a person. I was close to everybody in his family. As far as l am concerned, no words are sufficient to express my respect, gratitude and affectionfor him and he will be in my mind till my last breath

Though I was not his student as I am not an alumnus of TVM MCH,I happened to attend one class accidentally without knowing who is Joy Philip Sir when I came to Tvm....with that one class I could experience what all his students and his daughter Dr Deepa said....He was the Dean of SUT AMS where my daughter is studying and by God s grace she also got a few classes by him....so we are grateful to God for the blessings which God and Sir showered on any doctor Venu... you did an exemplary talk.... congrats
