- This is the last and most life-changing part of my trip to Vietnam. There’s three part series has been such an incredible journey to share with you all, but this last episode of visiting Yen Tu, Ninh Bình, and Halong Bay changed me forever. In this episode, I share the parts of Vietnam that brought my life full circle and transformed me spiritually and mentally. If anything, these three regions are woven in my journey as a woman and a new mom for the rest of my life. I don't know what millions of people love Jeannie and praying for her when it's so call African Americans needs more love and prayers in America. Hi Jeannie, I am from Jamaica and travelled to Vietnam 11 years ago on a solo backpacking adventure. I travelled from north to south exploring the majestic beauty of the country. I've always wanted to go back and as the years pass by the memories of my trip are fading, however your videos are reminding me so much of all the places I visited in Vietnam and the reasons why I wanted to go back.

Loved your series. My mother is Vietnamese and your mom reminds me of her. My family is from Saigon. My father met my mom during the Vietnam War. I only knew him the first 4 years of my life before they divorced. My moms family from Vietnam came to the US in 1980 where we lived in one small house and each family lived in a room. So my mom, me, and my sister was in one room. I grew up having to work since I was 12 years old to help support the family. From being a newspaper girl to working fast foods, etc. I never had a childhood because of going to school and working to support the family. My wish is to go back with my mom, stepdad, my husband and my kids to see our country before my mom gets too old. She has not been back home since 1970 and I have never seen our country. You have inspired me and have brought me tears of happiness to see our beautiful country. My grandmother wanted to go back home before she past away, but unfortunately we lost her two years ago. I still have an aunt that I never met and she still is there. Thank you for all the videos. By the way my only daughter's name is Leila Mai. 🥰Thank you again for the series. Most people like myself, don't know how beautiful our country really is.

13:44-14:45 - Now that we have the gift of hindsight, the fact that Jezzy drafted the divorce papers in June 2023 (around the same time this trip was taken) - gives me chills, especially given the beautiful words Jeannie was mentioning during that particular segment. It almost feels like the divorce completely blindsided her, as if she found out the same day the rest of us did.

Jeannie! This video series has taken me on a ride. My father is a Vietnamese refugee to Australia who has never gone back to Vietnam. Being mixed race I’ve always felt a little disconnected from Vietnamese culture as it’s a part of my fathers past that he doesn’t often share openly. Watching these videos and seeing the land and the people shown in such a loving way makes me want to experience this for myself so much more. Currently planning a trip. Darn, this was so beautiful and the videographer did an incredible job. It really was terrific. I am so saddened by the news of the divorce. Looking at this now after the news and you can see where he lets go of her hand first, and what seems his "disconnect" which wasn't there before. It used to be that he was proud of displaying their love and he didn't care who knew it. Now, what happened? I don't know, but I have loved Jeannie from the beginning and she's a bright star. It is truly his loss. I have been married for 21 years and this I know, for marriage to last, forgiveness is necessary. We are not going to be perfect, either party in the relationship, but as long as the core values and the love is there, hang on to that. It will come back. You just gotta keep trying and not give up. It's the two of you against the problem, not either one of you being the problem. Best of luck to you both as you move forward. Praying for you. May little Monaco fair the best possible through all of this.

They’ve clearly been having issues even while in Vietnam. He just always looks out of place with her. Like he wasn’t very present.

I have been away from Vietnam for years and busy rolling myself down the hill of chasing my dream, I felt down and stood up for so many times and kept up what I chose to do.
I have never stopped missing and thinking of our homeland, everything recalled to my mind that I come from a literal heavenly land on Earth with amazing people and many of spiritual cultural significances.
Literally the moment when you stated yourself finding your connection back to the Earth, it actually gives me the thought that how long have I not felt that connection!

This touches every bit of my heart I have a mom from the Philippines and have been visiting there from the US since I was 2 and on our last trip we wanted to add another Asian country and we went to Vietnam (Hanoi and Ha Long Bay) in 2018 since my aunt managed a small cruise ship and it was a life changing experience. I love seeing a location through the eyes of someone who has deep love for that place. Thank you!

Your videos have really taken me back to my own trip to Vietnam. My best friend, who is half Vietnamese, and I went to Hanoi and Ninh Binh and we enjoyed every second of it. I was lucky enough to be there for my friend as she experienced and connected with her culture on a much deeper level. Sharing those experiences with her is something I will never forget. It feels hard to explain, but there is definitely something magical about the beauty and warmth of Vietnam and it's people. Thank you for taking us along on your journey.

Hey Jeannie, I’ve been watching you for years and I really enjoyed watching this series. Coming from a Vietnamese women, I never been to Vietnam and my grandparents and parents told me all the bad thing about Vietnam and how I shouldn’t go. But that never stopped me from dreaming to visit the motherland and after watching this series I truly got to see your experience and perspective. Vietnam is so beautiful and breathtaking.
