My father died in Vietnam. Thank you for this. He took a picture with a little girl over there. She looks about 5- 8 years old. I'm guessing. I wish I could meet her. My father died 11 days before I was born. I look at the picture of him and the little girl. ❤
With social media you can try and find her. Maybe contact local tv shows for your dad's story and finding her. I've seen them re unite lost kids from Vietnam or lost loves.
Thank you for taking us on this journey with you. The visuals are stunning. Seeing this version of life in Vietnam is unlike anything I've seen before. Thank you for sharing your culture in this true form. Looking forward to the coming episodes.
Correct. All we see is war movies and U.S. winning that war, which isn't true. We went to Vietnam in 2018 and it was our best SE Asian country. The people were amazing and the food was fresh and amazing too. You should go. I guarantee you won't ever forget it as one of your best travel experiences. 100%.
As the daughter of a Vietnam war veteran - who was raised under some pretty emotionally unstable “wounds” that never HEALED enough to SCAR - there are not enough words to describe how THERAPEUTIC this video was for me. So, simply for THAT, I THANK YOU, Jeannie … because this now makes ME want to go … and get a touch of the loving embrace that RADIATES from your country, as you have captured in this video. ❤️
What absolute garbage. Viet Nam is an absolute Communist dictatorship. Sure they want Americans (with no memories) or Europeans to come spend their money. But why don't you try to criticism something or say you don't think the gpvt there is OK and then you'll promptly see the reality of what the peoples republic is in reality.....

My dad fought in the Vietnam war (not by choice he was drafted) and it’s an experience he would never talk about. Such a terrible experience for the people of Vietnam and those forced to take part. Thank you for showing us the beauty of your country.
I went to Vietnam more than 20 times since 1990, i met a lot of American Vets there. All of them told me that they had nightmares every night for decades and took daily pills to control mental disorder, but since they return to Vietnam, they talked to Vietnamese veterans about the same pain they exorcise the past and the nightmares are gone.
This is the Vietnam War sentiment I wish all Americans could possess. The acknowledgement of it being a government-powered, not citizen-driven, atrocity and empathy for the native people of Vietnam, so many who still live with the generational trauma and damage to this day ❤️🩹
My dad passed 3 years ago he was 77. He also was a Vietnam vet and drafted out of the south. He never would talk about it to anyone. And he was horrible to watch war movies with because he argued that nothing was accurate lol
The way you presented this beautiful experience along with your soothing voice made me feel like I was physically there too! Thank you for sharing all of the war info too ❤❤❤❤❤

What a beautiful memories for the both of you. The way you speak in your Vietnam language is so beautiful, the way you speak feels the connection from your heart to your home of origin.
So this was the try and save the relationship trip.. wishing y’all the best
My thought too
Yes smh
❤❤🙏🙏
What absolute garbage. Viet Nam is an absolute Communist dictatorship. Sure they want Americans (with no memories) or Europeans to come spend their money. But why don't you try to criticism something or say you don't think the gpvt there is OK and then you'll promptly see the reality of what the peoples republic is in reality.....
And 58,000 Amrricans who the darlings killed? ....that's all forgotten right?
@@cindys1819 YOU are an embarrassment! This is a video about HER country and HER experience there and she stated history, OUR history with compassion. Sometimes think before you type. Have a GOOD day!
@@cindys1819 on american soil, cindy?
My dad fought in the Vietnam war (not by choice he was drafted) and it’s an experience he would never talk about. Such a terrible experience for the people of Vietnam and those forced to take part. Thank you for showing us the beauty of your country.
I went to Vietnam more than 20 times since 1990, i met a lot of American Vets there. All of them told me that they had nightmares every night for decades and took daily pills to control mental disorder, but since they return to Vietnam, they talked to Vietnamese veterans about the same pain they exorcise the past and the nightmares are gone.
How is he, pray and hope he's doing??
Tell him we love and appreciate him, and other war comrade, veterans.
They're hero's.💝
This is the Vietnam War sentiment I wish all Americans could possess. The acknowledgement of it being a government-powered, not citizen-driven, atrocity and empathy for the native people of Vietnam, so many who still live with the generational trauma and damage to this day ❤️🩹
Let's hope the tragedy won't happen again given what the warmongering ppl in America is currently provoking.
Thank you for sharing all of the war info too ❤❤❤❤❤
Proud to be Vietnamese! This was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing the importance and history of the Vietnam war. As a child of refugee parents too, I am forever grateful for their sacrifices! Also - your Vietnamese is hai lam chi oí! 😂❤
From the moment this video started…. I have tears 🥹 I LOVE experiencing different cultures! I’m not talking about staying in a resort… I mean going INTO the cultures and amongst people 💕 This series is going to be so beautiful 🥰
Best way to experience a country. Always try to engage in local activities to make myself immersed in the culture.
I really love this side life for Jeannie she deserves it life truly flourished for her! It so motivating for me to watch and embrace the beauty of waiting for Love! Praying for this for myself and ladies around waiting
They seem so happy together. I hope somehow they can find a way to work things out.
The way these two put so much effort into their gifts for each other... it's not just your typical celebrities buying each other cars and diamonds. It's that high school crush type attention-to-detail. It says a lot about their relationship dynamic
Their relationship is so healthy, beautiful and real. This is the only couple in the world that I have respect for. Their marriage is how I want mine to be. They teach me how to truly love and respect my partner. Jeannie is literally my long, lost, older Vietnamese sister. Hope to meet her and my brother in law one day 😝
She does Ad libs like her dad 😂❤️
Says so much he filed for divorce 😂😂
@@gregordrizzlewing7339 Imagine just waiting for the moment to say this lol you ok?
@@siiiiiuu7 says the person that falls for an online relationship 😂😂 people like you are what’s wrong with the world. Now you mad at me for pointing out it didn’t work? Grow up and stop being so hurt over a relationship your not in 😂😂😂
I haven’t even finished this video yet and I feel like *I* am on a tour of Vietnam and I love it! It looks sooo cool and full of history and life. Thank you so much for sharing this with us, Jeannie! 💜
It was awesome allowing us watch Jeezy seeing Vietnam through your eyes. My favorite part was the father showing off his kids achievements. Hope your saving all this memories for Monaco too! ❤❤❤
Monaco will see it on the internet
This was so good. I felt like i was watching Netflix documentary to Vietnam. I’m excited to see the second one. Although you were upset about covid ruining your trip God was already in your future planning it out. He give you engagement, wedding, Monaco, and now your trip.
Totally felt like i was watching a

That was so beautiful, Jeannie. Vietnam is one of the prettiest places on this planet. The intro is so stunning.
So i heard
Ohhhh Jeannie, I loved every moment of this. The creativity is out of this world. You and your husband's love story and connection is beautiful ❤❤
I love this. In my 36/7 years, I’ve never been to my parents’ home country but for the last year and half, my mom has been wanting to take my sisters and I back to visit to Laos (where her, her siblings, and my Dad were born) and Thailand (where they were refugees from the Vietnam war) to know and learn more in depth about our origins…still trying to make that happen but hopefully one day soon, we’ll be able to go with my Momma and make some memories❤
Please make it happen.
Knowing , visiting where we come from is good for our mental state.✌
@@bvl98 or bad for our mental state🤨

Vietnam is sooooo beautiful! Saigon, you can just tell is enriched by the history it holds and the storys it needs to tell!!! The coastal town was magnificent! Unlike anything I have ever seen before! I loved the parts where you got to speak to the older people and converse with them. Its amazing seeing this!

Visiting Vietnam has been on my bucket list, and this is by far my favorite episode. Thanks, Jeannie, for sharing this!
Loved them as a couple, but Jeezy looked disconnected from her the whole video, and his body language was off as if he was annoyed with her 😬
I caught that to
It's so refreshing to see a joy on her face. Her family has healed her in a wonderful way.

Part 1! Part 3 is coming next Tues!
🙏🏽This episode was everything I didn't know I needed. It added a refreshing sweetness to a bitter cup of history for this “daddy's girl”.
At the age of 17, my Dad was drafted to Vietnam. I imagine, that the sounds of war mutes the rhythm of ones heart.
❤️ Today, I watched this episode, and found myself light-heartedly emotional. Maybe it's because, ...through the eyes of Hello Hunnay, ..I was given a unexpected gift. That is beautiful to me. Thank you for sharing your journey!🦋
This is so beautiful! Vietnam is on my short list to visit. The mountains, the greenery, the food & the people! Cant wait to live vicariously through you in these videos! Thank you for sharing with us ♥️💫

As a Vietnamese myself, I was so impressed with the cinematography and storytelling about our country that you showed us in this video! The part where the dad was proud of his kids got me in tears and it reminded me of my own parents who are always proud of me and hung up my certificates too. Love that Jeezy was speaking some Vietnamese. You taught him well hahah and yes, your Vietnamese is really good!! I can't wait to see the other parts of your Vietnam travel series!! This is so beautiful! Feels like a movie I just love how you walked us through experiencing your culture with your husband. All the love.
He made an artificial Vietnam while engaging her,she later took him to the actual place, while planning for divorce, what is so unreconciliable😢...Lord have mercy.
Who even does that? All this effort for nothing 😔
Loved this! Thank you for sharing it with us. I love how you and Jeezy embrace each others cultures and how you finally got to go on your trip ❤
Thank you for the adventure into the Vietnamese culture and country ❤I live in New Orleans and it’s home to a large Vietnamese community.
