I went to Vietnam in October & absolutely fell in LOVE with the country. I’ve never felt so comfortable & happy. We started in Saigon, went to the Cu Chi tunnel. This was scary & unbelievable that the Viet Cong lived down in these tunnels for weeks. My daughter went in one tunnel & said it was small & she needed to get out ASAP. We then went to Hoi Ann. I fell in love again. I had 3 dresses made within a little over 24 hours. I loved the old feeling of this town. We stayed in Vietnam for a total of 24 days traveling from the south to the north, stopping in Hue, Halong Bay & Hanoi. This was my best vacation ever & I would love to move there some day!

This is the Vietnam War sentiment I wish all Americans could possess. The acknowledgement of it being a government-powered, not citizen-driven, atrocity and empathy for the native people of Vietnam, so many who still live with the generational trauma and damage to this day ❤️‍🩹
